In order for MS to be "closing in", they would need to outsell Sony for a month first. The gap is still widening every month, maybe not as big of a gap last month in NA, but Sony still sold more hence they didn't close in even 1 unit.
nothing really released last month for Xbox One and it only undersold the ps4 by around 30 thousand units. if that doesnt tell you and everyone something then i don't know what will.
i'm not saying there is a major shift going on...but there is a shift.

"In what probably isn't the most surprising news you'll read all year, Titanfall's launch in the UK on Friday has shot the Xbox One hardware full of vim and vigour. UKIE reports that weekly sales are up a staggering 96 per cent, with sales of the £399.99 Titanfall bundle accounting for 70 per cent of this figure"

"According to UKIE, Titanfall "more than doubles the sales of what had been 2014's current leader FIFA 14, which until now had delivered the highest sales for an All Formats No1 back in Week 1 of this year."
after recent news i don't see how anyone can say how the gap is widening, if anything.
