This is just about the only thing that makes me want an X1

Exactly my thoughts as well. I'm holding out hope for a PC release in the future (know it's very unlikely), can't justify buying a XOne for this.

@PredatorRules: Thanks for the input. Is the 980 worth the extra cost over the 970 though? I currently game @1080p and don't see myself changing that anytime soon.

I am getting tired of games not supporting a SLI config rendering my second card useless. Is it worth going to a 970? I can't find any benchmarks comparing the 2 against each other to make a good decision. I don't want to make a lateral move though, I am hoping for better performance even in games that utilize the SLI setup. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Or you can always buy Madden 08 for $0.99 on any last gen system and play it as the Madden 15 demo since it is the same recycled shit every year :)

"When I think about working on the game, it's almost platform agnostic because I only think about the differences between platforms and the different mechanics we can use, like the light on the PS4 pad and the stuff with Kinect 2.0," Napper says. "So I think with framerate it's pretty comparable. There's no noticeable drop or change in graphics between them. Obviously there are a lot more options to tweak and scale up on the PC."

Nice! Been looking forward to this game for a long time. I was debating picking it up for PC but I know a few friends will want to come over and play and get the crap scared out of us. So I'll be picking it up on the X1. Sitting on the couch together is a little more appealing then huddling around a monitor.

I got to see the game at an event a month or so ago and it was being ran on all X1's at the time. The game looked amazing so this isn't a huge surprise to me, but a nice confirmation non the less.

How does this thign still keep going on? One would think after the countless posts in every site or forum on the net discussing this, people would already know you can plug controllers on to pc and connect your pc to your TV.

That's what I do....I have my PC hooked up to my HDTV and use the X1 controller. It took years for me to finally do it but now I wonder what took me so damn long because it's great.

I've been doing it for years and never understood why people think a PC can't do this. I use the 360 controller though because I refuse to go back to a wired controller! Hopefully MS will release a wireless option for PC because I'd jump on a X1 controller quick :)

@jimmarko21876: Its people trying to claim that games on PSN are free and that its not free to game on a PC because of the ISP using the twisted logic, not the other way around. I can take my laptop to a cafe or access steam at a friend's house or use the internet at work and absolutely game on a PC online for free w/o paying for an ISP if you wish to be pedantic about that. You cannot access games on the PSN for "free" without paying for them first.

The ISP in almost every instance is an existing bill that everyone has, not bought to play online. It would be like including the cost of a TV, electricity, etc when talking about how much a PS4 costs. Its a total reach.

Games on PSN are bought via subscription, there's no other way to argue it, they are in no way free.

Sure I could, just share a PSN account with a friend and download the game on my system. If you want to go the route of "what if" like you are with a friend's or cafe's ISP. No matter how many ways you try and explain it, it all comes down to how a person perceives "free". I say they're free, you don't. I won't lose sleep over it my man, lol. Like I said numerous times, we will just have to agree to disagree :) It;s been a pleasure and helped pass the time while at work. Been a member since 2004 and only have 400 posts, I should do this more often :)

Toad's Treasure Tracker > Smash.

Agreed. Looking forward to that more than any other game coming this year, including multiplats.

@blue_hazy_basic: If you break everything down that way, nothing is "FREE". That's cool, we can agree to disagree :) Yes, I have PSN just to play my games online and it's definitely a bit steep just for that (as was Live last gen for me), but if you can find a free way to play my games online I'm all ears, lol

PC :)

I knew that response was coming, lol. I play on PC as well as consoles, may be cheaper but it's not free either. I have to pay my ISP, which according to your earlier response, means I am paying a subscription for my "free" online play.

Which is why I said the cable pizza delivery analogy was flawed. Everyone pays for an ISP, but that has nothing to do with you paying for a seperate subscription to PSN. That specific subscription cost includes you paying for the games already. They aren't free, you're paying for them with your subscription. I mean you don't say you play online for free when you have PSN, so why would you say the games are free?

I say it is for free, for the same reason you said "PC:)" for a free way to play my games online, which I easily prove as false using everyone else's twisted logic on what is free. I never said I play online for free, because I pay for PSN and a ISP to play them online. That's the sole reason I pay for PSN (and Live last gen), which would indeed make the games "free" for me since that doesn't weigh in on my decision for buying the subscription (however, it does make the price a little more justified). Like I said, we will have to agree to disagree on this subject :) Just wait until I argue with the cashier at the next store I get a buy 1, get 1 free sale. I am shoving this string of messages right up their a** for the audacity of calling the 2nd item free!! :)
