I was confused by this article so did a bit of research. Some sites are taking a few lines from an interview and changing the news. Spencer also mentioned how a game like Halo 5 with dynamic scaling would run at max performance with the Scorpio. Companies could revisit games to update them to take advantage of the better hardware.

But for a game that caps the fps, this console isn't magic. It doesn't change the code to make it run at 60 fps or whatever number you hope for.

I think there is a long time before this console releases so the details will get flushed out over time. Don't panic over these sites that like to change the story just to get people to click and read. It doesn't sound like they will force a certain fps on developers even for the new hardware. Not sure yet if the 4K is a standard for developers or an option.

Of course, you don't need to believe me. You can never believe anything on the internet without digging into the topic yourself.

Mostly people just people being stupid. Could happen, but it probably is not the rule but the exception. But if you look at metacritic I would say that would be pretty accurate because it is an average of many scores. And if you think it better to go by user reviews, if you read any of them, you see a huge bias so they are even more worthless than journalist reviews.

@livewired500 @instigator81 I think the original blades design for the 360 was bad. Having not seen or used the new interfaces I can't comment on them but to me the way the 360 is now looks like it could be the interface for any application. To me the PS3 and all the PlayStations before scream console interface. In general the interfaces on consoles are very bad.

@livewired500 Which I think is so weird because to me the interface of the PS3 is very poorly designed.

I had a little hope for this but ultimately this is kind of what I expected. Very typical launch game. So neither console has a game that makes the console a must have. Have to wait until early 2014 I guess.

@Xx_DemonSoul_xX @instigator81 I am still torn on which console to get first. The Order has me intrigued. I am sure Titanfall will be awesome but it doesn't seem to be my kind of game. PS has a free-to-play horror game but ftp can be a mixed bag.

@Xx_DemonSoul_xX @instigator81 And since the multiplatforms are on current gen and none scream you need the next gen I don't see anything yet. Looking forward to the game from former Resident Evil creator. I want more survival horror and good ones that aren't too action focused to draw more people.

Even though this looks impressive, since it is a racing game, I don't know if it can be a system seller. I think the last hope for either console to have a system seller at launch is Ryse. Else we wait until next year for the next wave of big games.

@Horndawgie @instigator81 But early on there was also a lot a negative said about it but much that was criticized has evolved or been changed.

@RicanV @instigator81 They have been marketing the hell out of that game more than any other so I think MS is hoping that it turns out to be a gem and a system seller.
