@Riddick123 @instigator81 @Xx_DemonSoul_xX I think early on it doesn't. But half way through the life of the console I think it does. Have we ever seen a console vastly change specs midway through a generation? When cost goes down could MS improve some things? (It is easy for me to tell a company just to eat the cost of making something. Probably not as easy for them.)
@Riddick123 @Xx_DemonSoul_xX @instigator81 What they should have done is had the hardware more comparable to PS4 and just eat most of the cost of the Kinect.
@Xx_DemonSoul_xX @instigator81 The only issue with the Kinect is it added to the overall cost of the system so they had to cut corners somewhere. I would be curious how much the Kinect costs to make.
After everything, I have come to the conclusion the only mistake MS has made is the underpowered hardware. Everything else is just fine and even policies would have been fine.
Early on the difference in power between the ONE and PS4 won't be that noticeable but if you are stuck with hardware for ten years you should have the best you can at the time of release. In 3-5 years, the ONE will be showing its age much more than the PS4.
@gagula94 @instigator81 To me that is a stance you take when you know you aren't going to get them. Companies don't usually turn down ways to make money.
