I would still think you would need some kind of device that connects you to the service, unless he thinks that would be built into the monitor which would be dumb. It would help Sony start selling TV's again though. Bundle the playstation service with Sony TV's.
I know the Kinect doesn't have a lot of support in the "gaming community" but I see something people seem to praise, Oculus Rift, as a big gimmick that will fail very hard. It will be cool tech, but ultimately it will end up sitting in the closet.
@JustWingin_IT @instigator81 I remember that. But that isn't a huge change. I'm talking about changing ram, CPU, GPU. I'm not going to count adding ports. I know that the 360 underwent some other changes to hardware but I don't know if it was a performance upgrade or just an efficiency upgrade(less heat).
@Riddick123 @instigator81 When drawing diagrams of networks you draw everything. You need to account for parts you don't know about(internet). The symbol that became popular for it is a cloud. There is no deep reason for the term.
Quiz: Why is it called "cloud" computing? I knew the answer but confirmed it before I asked. If you can answer this then your opinion matters. NO GOOGLE.
@sladakrobot @instigator81 MS isn't the only company with cloud computing. But this is the first big foray into a consumer product using it. At least that I can think of. And I am talking processing, not storage. That has existed forever.
