Because it specifically says violent, they are shooting them selves in the foot (pun intended). Racing games where you can bang into another car, vehicular assault there, how about mario kart and throwing things at other vehicles, can imagine that could be classified as violence or a 'sin', strong language and bullying is classified as assault along with intimidation. The list goes on and on, while the intelligence of politicians drop and drop. People troll on message boards, could doing something like this be called political trolling ?
Well since Im a marvel movie fan, Ill continue to purchase the ones I like on Bluray. There is zero chance that I would or will ever subscribe to another streaming service like that. Mostly because of variety and content that actually appeals to me, which Disney does not do really. Six months of the streaming service will equal me buying the only movies Disney is bringing out that I actually want to see.
I dont think Destiny 2 is that bad at all. I picked up the Forsaken bundle at Christmas on the PS Store for like $30 and I feel that money is well spent. Mind you I burnt myself out with it, so I moved on to another game for the time being, but I come back from time to time. I personally would not have enjoyed it for the full price of the game plus the price of the expansions. I probably would have grinded more to try and get my money out of it so to speak, but its not horrible by any means in my opinion.
I think in the eyes of politicians they are simply seeing it as a gamble when one is purchased with real world money. You are spending $$$ on a random element where the outcome is unknown. Don't get me wrong I could care less either way, its the unknown element that is more or less the target. If you look at the definition of gambling it kind of falls in line with that,
1. the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes.
2. the act or practice of risking the loss of something important by taking a chance or acting recklessly
In the end it is up to the individual, its more aiming at the age related issue to someone under the age of majority being able to do it.
Either way it does not matter in the end, you can simply no buy loot box's as its pretty much just cosmetics anyway. Everyone to their own.
This will be the first Fallout game I have skipped since the very first one on PC. Not just because of what I have seen but also for the fact of how Elder Scrolls Online turned out compared to any other Elder Scrolls game. I think I played that for a week before I traded it back in.
