I mainly play Uncharted 2 and BFBC2. Recently i've also played a little Team Fortress 2 on the Orange Box but i kind of wish i had my own gaming computer to buy games like Team Fortress 2 that have mods and get patch updates. I'm getting inFamous 2 soon and Uncharted 3, maybe also Resistance 3 or Battlefield 3, later this year.

Feel free to add me. My PSN ID is CRockfan19.

Today, i beat Half-Life 2: Episode 2 for the first time and while i'm excited for the next installment, i can't help but feel that Gordon Freeman should have more personality. It's almost like there has to be at least one other character to fight alongside Gordon and make comments to keep the game from being dull. I think it's strange that they give Gordon no personality and also make it so that none of the characters the player encounters asks Gordon anything. I think it was kind of a bad choice to make the main character of the game this way for 4 installments because then it's kind of too late to have him talking all of a sudden in the last game of the series. But i wonder how the ending to the next game will be great without some sign of life from Gordon. I mean as cool as his weapons are and his suit, he would be up there with the other great main characters of video games such as Solid Snake, Nathan Drake, Cloud Strife, etc if they had given him some personality at some point. But in regards to everything else-the story, gameplay, and environments (although not particularly noteworthy graphically, are interesting and often fit the mood of the respective scene in the storyline) is great.

Now, with the next installment i would rather Valve make a longer game than episode 1 and 2 since both of them felt short and rightfully so, hence episode. And so i believe a full game would be better (Half-Life 3), especially since by the time it will most likely come out, we will have waited 5 or 6 years for it. What do you guys think will happen in the game? Judging bythe ending of Episode 2, the humans have to destroy the Combine and completely wipe them from the planet but that wouldn't make for a very interesting story and be kind of predictable by itself. I wonder if Borealis isn't that threatening and that G-Man wants Gordon and the others to destroy it because maybe it turns out it's actually a little beneficial in their war against the Combine and maybe there will be another weapon introduced that's effective against Advisors and serves another use that may not be for fighting. It would be cool if the connections between the Portal universe and Half-Life universe came together and intersected story-wise. What do you guys expect to see or want to see in this game?

Oh and to anyone that hasn't played any of the Half-Life games, Portal, or Team Fortress 2, The Orange Boxis a great game-I highly recommend it. And i believe it's cheaper now. I don't know if it's $30, I don't think it's a Greatest Hits game but it should probably be between $30-$60 online (since you won't be likely to find it in a retail store unless it's GameStop.

WnderWmn, i don't add anyone i play with in BFBC2 unless they have a mic and/or know how to play cooperatively. This goes for most other shooters too. And tbh it's hard to find someone that has a strategic or tactical sensibility in most shooters i play. I mean when i play shooters and most of my team goes one direction, i try to flank the enemy in another direction because it's easier to hold back an attack if it's all coming directly in front of you. It's best to not do the same thing the rest of your team is doing and especially when they're failing but keep trying even though the other side is expecting you to come back to that same area.

Darn. I was hoping the singleplayer would be better but that's ok since i care more for multiplayer in racing games. But i hope the multiplayer is better than the first because there are some things that could have been improved upon in that game. I know there are more vehicle classes, customization, more players allowed per race, and splitscreen play online. But what are the maps like? Are they any good?

Hey, I don't have very many PSN friends or friends in real life that have a PS3 and/or play games like Uncharted, InFamous, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, or have an interest in a wide variety of game genres such as action adventure, shooter, RPG, RTS, racing, and platformer.

Hey guys, I've been interested in these two games for awhile now and need help deciding. I know Mass Effect 2 costs $60 and that Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition costs $30. These two games also contain nearly all DLC made for the both of them. I like many types of genres of games such as adventures, role-playing games, shooters, action adventures, platformers, racing games, etc. I'm looking for the best experience between the two in your opinion and if you like many genres I do or at least many hit PS3 exclusives, it would be great if you mention either or both or none along with your choice. I just recently beat inFamous about a week or two ago and loved it. I especially loved it because I think it nailed the open world formula in some ways better than GTA has, and for the story, characters, karma system, replayability among other things. But I also love games like MGS series, Killzone 2, Uncharted 1 and 2, The Orange Box and some others but these games I think are the most similar to Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2. I did like Assassin's Creed 1 but felt that it could have been better.
