I love Starhawk and i'll be playing it for awhile but i need more maps to play. I like most of the maps but i prefer to play 7 out of the 10. And I absolutely love Fracture, Basin, Lost Canyon, and Conduit. But 10 maps isn't enough, especially considering the fact that half of them have look-alikes. Does anyone know when Cypress will be released? Also, i think more loadout options should be given. Sometimes when i create a server i'd like to use a loadout that will allow players to build Depots, Hawk Pads, and Garages or Hawk Pads, Garages, and Corral, as well as other variations.

@soundcell: You have no idea the vast array of games and types of games i like. I wasn't going to give you a list of every game i've played and what i thought about each one if that's what you were expecting. I don't think anyone cares that we don't like all of the same games you do. Don't you have anything better to do with your time, troll? And i don't know what you're calling generic. Starhawk is far from generic and definitely one of a kind.
Also, i'm excited for the free map packs LightBox will be releasing. I really hope they give us some of the classic Warhawk maps. Archipelago would make for a great DM Dogfighting map. What do you guys think?
Cool i'll add you guys (and girls if any of y'all happen to be lol). Lol Joker, i was thinking the same thing about the way your comment was sounding and i have a mic too. Zidaneski i don't think there are many defenses against Hawks that do that but i would recommend building some beam turrets. If you have beam turrets on the inside of a bubble shield, it's better to keep only one (maybe two) and build a few outside the shield as well as some of the machine gun turrets on higher ground as close to the base as possible if possible.
Hey guys i just picked up Starhawk yesterday and i'm loving it. I like shooters and that's what i've mostly played this gen but before this gen began i played mostly on the PC (and here and there with my PS2. But that's another story.) and used to play a lot of RTS with The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth 1. The hybrid genre LightBox Interactive has created is a fine meld of FPS and RTS gameplay and has made Starhawk one of the best multiplayer experiences to be had imo. Yet while i love this game, i feel not as directly involved with teammates as i'd like to be. What i'd like is some people to play with regularly and devise strategies with. If you enjoy Starhawk as i do, and also want someone to play with, please send me a message/friend request over PSN. My PSN ID should be in my sig.
Yea, perfect scores are really hard to come by. I just looked at metacritic and there arethirteen 10's. That's the most i've seen in a long time and for a game that hasn't been released yet! From my experience, Naughty Dog seems to make each sequel of every series they touch better than the last one. I think they're one of the best developers in the gaming industry.
Yea i'm loving it too. I like everything about it, especially the ability to upload gameplay videos to the XMB, YouTube, and Facebook. My only wish is that there will be a new competitive map and at least one co-op map toplay before release. My PSN ID is CRockfan19 if anyone wants to play with me. Just mention that you're from GameSpot when you send me a friend request.
Yea that's how i felt usually when playing the series but i started thinking about it sometime when i was playing episode 2. It doesn't really bother me but it just seems like a flaw in characterization. I appreciate the other characters but i feel like he should have an opinion on matters and not be neglected personality as a main character.
Yep I like the Half-life series. I have Half-life PS2 and The orange box for PS3 which has Half-life 2 & Half-life episodes one and two. I would hope that eventually there would be Half-life 3 at some point. But I guess that will have to wait for PS4.

And actually that may not be a bad idea. I can wait a couple more years and this game would make a great launch title for the PS4 and to showcase the new technology.
Have you played the first Half-Life? I haven't so the storyline is a little bit confusing for me and i had to go to wikipedia to find out what Black Mesa was exactly and the significance of it to understand the analogy they used for Borealis.
