Both of them look great.

And seriously people, quit with the bashing of DMC4. It wasn't perfect but it wasn't a bad game.

-Peer pressure (lol): Xbox live is very popular. And I've seen on more than one occasion people who dont have 360s being forced to get one for live. 90 percent of them end up loving it.

Lol, peer pressure? I didn't know the 360 was a drug. Man, if that's a drug, then I should have been hooked on it already. I'm sorry but I own a PS3. I will not be peer-pressured into owning a console with so many hardware failures that it's mind-blowing. Unless that said console can prove that it won't die on me after a week or even a month, I'm sold. But for now, I enjoy my PS3 and my free online service. You stated that 90% as fact, and that's where you're completely wrong.

-Ninja Gaiden II. Too Human. Gears of War 2. (See the rest of the games in my sig.): 'Nuff said.

And chances are, Ninja Gaiden 2 might end up on the PS3 under a different name just like Sigma. The team who made Sigma wants to create more games for the PS3. PS3 owners may not get the game right away but it'll come soon enough. Gears of War has been overhyped so much that I get sick and tired of hearing about it. And for someone who's arguing for the 360, you forgot other games that are coming out soon such as Banjoo Kazooie (whatever that game is) and Alan Wake. What a way to defend your system.

-PS3 has extremely long installation time. Pisses people off. And eventually those hard drives are gonna get clogged up.

Extremely long? I'm sorry, but when my games were installing, I was on my computer watching youtube videos. I have patience waiting for games to install and not too many of them need to install. You fail in this argument in so many ways.

-The Promise Land: The 360 advertises far more in North America than PS3. More advertisements means more sales. Now take note, there are plenty of people in very foreign countries who buy their consoles from North America as well. This means, even MORE SALES!

The promise land huh? I don't see the 360 reaching a *promise land* when they can't even fix the Red Light of Death. They may advertise in North American but the PS3 is advertised WORLDWIDE. North American is one continent. The PS3 is popular in other countries besides North America. Once Home and in-game XMB comes out, Sony will be taking North America thank you very much.

-Price Drop. It may be a rumor but it's the most obvious move for MS to make if they want to go anywhere this year.

Yes, the price drop. It can either hurt them or help. But by the time they do that, it would probably be too late.

-Revamping LIVE. MS is revamping Live completely. Proof is here: http://kotaku.com/357789/new-xbox-live-in-the-works

Yes, and PSN is one step ahead because they're revamping everything April 15th.

-Go West young one! lol the PC-360 combination is lethal. Many people ask "why get two consoles with nearly the same games?" Xbox live is one answer. Another answer is the fact that most games come first to 360, then to pc.

Sure it is. I would say the force is strong with the PC and the PS3. I have both and I plan on getting back to online gaming soon enough.

-The cheapies! Something most people have totally forgotten is that with hd dvd beat out by blu ray, it's price will eventually go down tremendously. Price drop in hd dvd, plus price drops in the 360's themselves means what? More sales!

Uh...no. Bluray won the format war. People will want to switch to Bluray and they'll buy a PS3 just for that and the games coming up soon enough.

-The newbies! The xbox brand is the newest thing. Wii and PS3 are relatively old franchises. People like to go to the new. Of course, the Wii's new perspective on gaming may out sell the xbox's newer brand.

And you know this...how? Once again, you don't provide evidence. You just spew things out without anything to back it up. You're passing your comments as FACT.

-Cross Platform gaming. PC-360 cross platform gaming will be coming soon. And well this affect's sales as well.

Sure it will. In a perfect world.

-Preference. Advertising has lured people into believing the 360 is more popular (which it is.) And so when they see a 360 next to a ps3 in a store, they're more prone to buy the 360.

Unless MS can fix the RROD, those advertisements won't be luring anyone, especially not me.

Can anyone add more reasons? And can anyone challenge these reasons?

There's nothing TO add. Your reasons are far-fetched to the point I facepalmed.

Heres a few things to tell your friends:

A) It was built from the ground up with the cell processor backing it up, something the PS3 lacks. If you need evidence check out Burnout Paradise and multiply that by at least 5.

B) Sell better? Most people are getting a PS3 or own a PS3 just to play MGS4. Yeah it would sell better because it would be available to more people, but also alot of more development time would have to be done just to put it on the 360, thus costing them even more money.

C) Barring a complete sales flop on the PS3, Kojima and Konami have no current intentions of porting it. Also i'm sure Sony paid Konami off to keep its exclusivety for the title. It is being bundled with PS3's afterall. It's like if Motorstorm went multiplat. Won't happen.

Just tell your friends to quit holding their breaths unless they wanna seriously hurt themselves. It isn't going to happen so if they want to play one of this years best, they had better start saving their pennies.

And why is that dumb? He made a valid point.

Fact:

If 360 is third, Lemmings blame shortages

If PS3 is third, Cows blame lack of good releases

If Wii is third, Satan rises.

You make me laugh, in a good way. xD

I say Microsoft, but Sony has been a bit dissappointing as well.

Microsoft

1. Faulty hardware.

2. Paying for online service.

3. Games don't really appeal to other genres. I mostly hear about shooters for the 360 rather than games of which benefits people who don't really like shooters.

Sony

1. Losing exclusives. I wish they had fought even harder to keep their exclusives.

2. Slow beginnings.

But despite that, Sony is making up for their mistakes. I don't see Microsoft doing that, for the most part.

bobaban

Just to add more to MS - Taking out a standard HDD, supporting HDDVD, and sticking with the old DVD9 format as well. Sony may have had a bad start but they certainly made better sales than the 360 worldwide.

You're right. That was just ridiculous.

Nice!

Enjoy it, because more awesome games are coming up, not to mention Home and in-game XMB.

Why do you care so much? You think it's bad, others don't. It's called OPINION.

ImportBMWRacer

Do you even read? If you read the previous posts you would understand, My first post is just simple, and shouldnt be hard for you to understand.

I still don't understand and I read your posts constantly. You're trying to predict that HOME will be a terrible idea when it's not even out yet and you're not even giving it a chance. It's as if you're making PS3 owners regret buying the system or something.
