@garysingh34 You can order it from Amazon.com, $499 equivalent is about £335. You will be liable for any import duty though - set the same as the VAT rate at 20% (£402), plus any import duty handling fees/penalties if you didn't declare the item properly on import documentation.
@jrcast84 @TacoTuesdays @gamespotpanayis They could use it for voice commands and basic stuff.. Although the skeleton breakdown stuff probbaly can't be done on the eye.. its a bit niche anyway. Both systems could do real life avatar capture! That's a scary thought!
@jrcast84 @TacoTuesdays I also think they will use it.. and try and do something similar with the PS Eye.. just make it an additional optional control system, as the eye couldn't be guaranteed.
@Pre_ordered_PS4 @Axile11 I imagine they could make it more like $150-$200 cheaper (not that they would). I think the new Kinect hardware is mighty indeed.
@spartanx169x @gamespotpanayis @Shango4 I know where you're coming from.. I had a 360, sold it because i wanted a bluray so bought a ps3, found it a bit rubbish, so bought another xbox.
I almost went for a PS4.. why pay extra for a Kinect when I never bought one for the 360?.. but ultimately I think both consoles will be successful and I trust Microsoft more than Sony in developing their console experience.. so I don't mind paying an extra £80. Who knows.. I might even enjoy using the Kinect for some things (not impressed with previous gen Kinect.. but saw it had potential).
