@Tielo1 @gamespotpanayis In the end I realised I hadn't played the PS3 for about 6 months. Used it only for Blu-ray. So when I got stung by the store I thought I'd stop it devaluing, buy a cheap (and excellent) Toshiba blu-ray player and let someone who would actually use it enjoy the PS3. I never really liked the PS3 controller either, or not having infra-red, but they were only minor niggles.
@Tielo1 It was problems with the PS Store that finally got me to sell my PS3 and game only on Xbox - But I'm optimistic they will do better this gen.. maybe even have two servers! :-)
Their PS+ subscription revenue should allow them to invest more in their network, which will be a welcome improvement.
@soolar79 What a sad point of view. Why wouldn't you prefer the Xbox One and Wii U to do really well, driving competition and improving the gaming experience for all, including yourself?
That's certainly what I'm looking forward to.
I'm not a fan of EA, so don't buy their games. But it's good for them to do the best they can.. even their huge failures and Pay-As-You-Go / free to play games serve as an example to other developers on what not to do.
@rawkstar007 @robertcain ermmm.. I think he was referring to how they advertise the Indy games (if they are going to have a deluge of them), not adds for BetterWheat Honey Cereals.
@northArrow @pspearman Problem is that they tend to lose money for the first 3 or 4 years on Console sales.. I think it more likely they are hoping the PS+ subscriptions will compensate.
@Killer6b9 I agree, I was hoping for some revelation about the feature.. rather than what had already been revealed at E3. A bit of a pointless article.
