I haven't finished X (about 55 hours in), but the gameplay is Xenoblade Chronicles on steroids, crack, and mushrooms, pure gaming bliss.

Xenoblade Chronicles wins as far as Story, Music, and characters go, but the gameplay in X is so deep, nuanced and varied that it ends up becoming the more enjoyable game.

I do believe that Xenoblade Chronicles will end up being remembered more fondly.

Are we confusing immersion with something else? You can get 'immersed' in just about any game as long as it clicks with you.

Are you trying to say that Nintendo games lack atmosphere, fully realized worlds, or deep character interactions?

All I got out of this was Zelda for NX.

The already piss poor shooting mechanics would be even worse, the puzzles would solve themselves, enemies would be bullet sponges, and everything would be heavily scripted. To ND's credit the pacing should be very good.

Will rebuy, hopefully Capcom updates it and doesn't just do a straight port.
