@LZ71:

From my understanding they don't just unlock for you. You actually have to spend some time with the level editor (at least 5 minutes from some articles before it does) before they do.

Like I said Nintendo's reasoning can definitely be put into question, but I still feel as if people are more upset over the announcement than anything

So you basically have to play the game to unlock more stuff?

What if Nintendo never announced this strategy? People would just think that the tools were in-game unlockables, or am I missing something? Either way it's not a big deal to me since I don't plan on buying the game until it's cheaper.

It means that when you buy the game and start it up, you start with a limited tool set and you have to wait the next day in order to get another set. It's all locked in the game disc and will only activate after a period of time.

Yeah when I first played smash I had a limited character set, but I kept playing to unlock everybody. My problem is that your line of thinking can be applied to any game with unlockable content.

Now Nintendo's reason for doing it is kind of stupid, but this kind of thing isn't out of the ordinary for the industry.

That's not what I mean at all! Unlocking characters via gameplay a lot different than having to wait for 24 hrs a day for a new set of tools and then the old tools from yesterday are no longer available.

When was this confirmed?

Anyway, the idea is still the same since you only unlock the tools by using the level editor, but you just have wait for the next set of tools to be unlocked after use. All I'm saying is that if Nintendo never made this announcement and people picked up this game and had a only a handful of tools at first and gradually started unlocking more, most people wouldn't even bat an eye.

I believe most of you guys are more upset over the actual announcement and not the limited tools at the beginning of the game.

PSN was terrible on PS3.

It quick and snappy on PS4 though especially if you have a hard wired conection.

The store itself could use a revamp, it's just so clunky imo.

I prefer the look of Xrd and KI is definitely no slouch.

Street Fighter V does look great tho.

Honestly the only redeeming quality Kingdom Hearts has for me is the Disney references, music, and the battle system can be fun at times.

Everything else is very meh.

I honestly can't pick an end all be all game.

Halo has quite a bit of diversity and the guns feel pretty good.

Call of Duty has tight fast paced gunplay that is also satisfying.

But I guess I'll go with Bad Company 2, no other game has made me feel more satisfied to snipe someone from across a map.

I don't mind the gimmicks as long as they are supported well, but Nintendo needs to find a way to bring third parties back.

Maybe make a console that is easy to port to, Nintendo has done well with pleasing most indie devs and now they just need more 3rd party devs.

Actually Nintendo needs more games that appeal to western gamers.
