@The_Last_Paladi @force_user1975 It's a Kotaku article, I wish I could find it again. Very eye opening, and the fact that Sony is using indies in the way they are should be a huge clue into what I've said. I'm not saying there wont be AAA games on the PS4, but there's no doubt in my mind that we wont see the amount that we saw on the PS3. Sony just can't afford it.

They also said the same thing about the PS4, I remember an interview where they said they could make more money off selling 5k Indie games as opposed to 2 million of a AAA game due to the cost of developing and advertising it. Those expecting a PS3 level of exclusives on the PS4 are probably going to be upset, unless you absolutely love indies, ported Free-2-Play PC games and last-gen ports.

Not only has it gone on to sell around 30 million units in under 3 years, it's also had some pretty big hits for gaming.

and there were quite a few other successful Kinect games. There is a market for more than just shooter or violent video games.

@gilldominic When they focused on Kinect as a gaming platform people jumped down their throats. There are some Kinect games coming at launch. Fighter Within, Just Dance 4 and those new fitness games are coming.

I for one think Kinect has so much more to offer the Xbox One than just gaming. You can split screen Skype chat while gaming. Live stream games you're playing and do commentary while on screen. Edit your gameplay footage and do commentary with it and upload it. Control the entire interface with it as well. I think you'll see it used more in the ways it was on Skyrim, as a replacement for Hot Keys. I'm excited by the prospect of Kinect, it adds something interesting to next gen, which is what I wanted. Last thing I wanted was to have slightly better graphics and no innovation.

Some of you people are taking the title of this article too seriously, all they are saying is that they want to make a game that everyone will like, and even years down the road they can play and enjoy.

They aren't saying it plays anything like Mario Kart or Wii Sports, they are just using an example of games that people love and often go back to. Not only are they games people go back to, but no matter when you bought a Wii, you got those two games right away (most of us anyway).

I think Kinect Sports Rivals looks fantastic, the Jet Ski gameplay reminds me so much of Wave Rave 64, and that's a great thing.

Xbox 360 really pushes sales with Xbox Live Arcade. Minecraft at like 10 million, now State Of Decay at a million. Can't wait for the MMORPG sequel on Xbox One down the line.
