@A_Rabid_Dog Wow, typical brilliant vocabulary from a Sony fanboy. *Claps* Bravo sir, you've set a new low standard.

@mike468 Thanks for enlightening people, but idiots will always look for sensationalized headlines so they can claim victory. Kind of sad really.

"Anonymous developer sources" Stopped reading right there. If you want to know what real developers think, check out what John Carmack or Kojima had to say about it.

I have actually been enjoying Smartglass, you get the feeling the last few years of the Xbox 360 were a bit of a beta test. I think some of the Project Spark, Ryse and Dead Rising 3 Smartglass stuff looks awesome.

@Techtroll Are you crazy? ONLY core gamer's buy consoles at launch. Which is why the Wii U sold out last year when it launched. I've waited 8 years for a new Xbox, I'm damn sure buying it. The extra $100 doesn't mean much to most people, if it's that big of a burden maybe gaming isn't for you? For me it was all about the better launch lineup, Kinect included and dedicated servers.

It sounds good in theory, but the only way it works is if Microsoft held off on letting people pre-order in order to allow stock to make it to the shelves. I don't see there being any way you'll be able to go into a store and buy one off the shelf this year. Even the Wii U, as poor as it's selling now was sold out at launch everywhere last year.

I'm happy I have my Xbox One pre-ordered so I don't have to fight the crowds, but anyone who is relying on being able to just walk in a buy one might want to have their head checked.

@SkaiNett Well the fact that every Xbox One will have a Kinect means developers can actually take advantage of that fact. Something they couldn't do with the Xbox 360's Kinect. Microsoft also has dedicated servers for their games, which sets them apart. They also have the far better launch lineup and the money to get other exclusives and support from other studios. I went with them because I wanted more than better graphics this gen, I want innovation and great games. Microsoft has that from the start.

I think Microsoft will be in a unique position because they are Microsoft. Obviously this year the Xbox One will sell out completely, just like the Wii U and just like the PS4 will do. Microsoft does have innovation on its side and the better launch lineup. That being said, if they do start lagging too far behind they can afford to take a loss on the hardware and make up for it with Xbox Live and the software. I would guess that we'll see the white Xbox One and a $399 price point within a year, and that's a hell of a deal.

@XBone4DaWin @Ayato_Kamina_1 @force_user1975 Exactly, but Sony wasn't able to turn profit on the PS3 this entire generation, and look at the Vita...good god that thing is a disaster.
