I hope Sony meant it when they said 10 year life cycle.
I mean the hardware is selling pretty well at the very least, so there should be some Sony games waiting to be unveiled. No way they are going to have an empty holiday season on a first party game line.
And there is Kingdom Hearts (yay!).
By the way, even though the scan is in Japense, trhe title is obviously in English, and Japan would never allow a game as violent as this to be sold so they are obviously developing for the Western audiences. Go America!icarus212001
Wrong
There's many games gory as all heck that never see the light of day in America
Also a lot of Japanese titles also include English words or letters in them (Getter Robo G) for instance
So no, wrong on all counts
I am actually right.
Japan is very heavily censored, and my proof is the following game:

Bionic Commando Rearmed
I have listened to the producer on his podcast for the game and he has said that the Japenese version is censored, and that the American version is the one rated M, as you can see.
Furthermore, isn't Britain the country that got a version of No More Heroes with coins instead of blood? America got blood?
So I guess YOU are the one wrong on "all counts".

ok.... then explain:
No More Heroes
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 5
the movie "Audition"
vending machines that sell used panties
hentai
ecchi
yaoi
yuri
yeah, the japanese are REALLY censored
To go on a possible thin line:
SPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILER
Japenese porn does not contain any explicit images. What does the fact that the most explicit content avaliable not having explicit images mean for its other forms of, ahem, entertainemnt?
But enough of a tangent, I am not here to argue about rating systems.

Sega signs up Platinum's trio
Michael French Today, 1:58pm
Reports say new Japanese independent by former Capcom execs is working on three titles
According to a report from Videogaming247 (which itself comes from a now-removed reportedly embargo-breaking story), Sega has signed up to publish three titles from Japaneseoutfit Platinum Games.
The studio, famously formed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and leads from Capcom's closed Clover studio, was founded last year. It was named as one of our top 10 studios to watch at the start of the year.
The games in development for Sega are, reportedly: Bayonetta, directed by Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya, featuring a character with guns on her feet; a DS sci-fi RPG called Infinite Line; and a Wii title called MadWorld allegedly **** like the Sin City comics and movie.
