Ow i don't know.
Should they listen to their customers?
Please make a more realistic zelda again! -> TP? -> WW looked much cooler!
They don't always know what they want and nintendo likes to surprise.
With SSBB it was almost as if they were reading the SSBB superthread in SW. I've seen quite a couple of wishes fulfilled in the update that came after. Probably coincidence.
I think they listen just a bit to their customers, and i kind of like it that way.KungfuKitten
I will admit that sometimes Nintendo does listen- like with Sonic.
BUT consider all it doesn't listen to. And I can tell you why.
For a while now, I have been listening to the IGN Wii podcasts, and those guys are really into the Wii news.
And they have mentioned a few times of how they have asked Nintendo for certain features, and how they are coming along.
Answer from Nintendo: Ladedadeda.
Recently, one of the worst quality games was released- and it had WiFi. The editors of IGN Wii said- look, if a game with as low a production value as this one can have WiFi, there is no excuse for ANY Wii game not to have WiFi.
The editors have also mentioned how they are beginning to take issue with how Nintendo keeps on pushing the Nintendo "seal of quality" on the large amount of games that are being released on the Wii when they are Absymal at best. And they are also taking issue with how nintendo keeps preaching Gaming > Graphics. 1st of all, say the editors, very few games are even taking advantage of the Wii IR motion controls in a menaingful manner (I.e., no annoying waggling).
And 2ndly, all the producers claim that the Nintendo Corporate leaders are limiting budgets for the games. They had a "heart-attack" when they saw the relatively low budget for even the easy Zelda TP. And they had one with MP3. And they are probably having a few with Brawl (because of all its features). And so, they are essentially limiting theproduction values going into the games that come out, and also the number of them becuase of their bottom line.
So they harp on about the cool next gen features, as if graphics and quality don't matter (and they do, as the editors pointed out that a multi-platform racing game had a difference of night and day when they went from the Wii to the 360- and the 360 was clearly the better).
So the only reason we don't have the desired features- someone at Nintendo does not want their bottom line lowered.
And that is also why we will have to wait for years as a small group makes the next Zelda game from the ground up that will truly have been meant for the Wii.
