It's funny I've seen a couple retro arcades pop up recently and a fair amount of younger kids occupying them. Certain things just don't go away if they're done properly.

@sellingthings: Audiophiles like this type of stuff and it could be used in future releases. From what I've been told it does sound pretty amazing.

@martintule24: Depending on your needs the 1070 is amazing card, more reasonably priced and does the job much better than the average user requires. If you are gaming over 1440P resolution then I would say go for the 1080.

I will say the Dreamcast was ahead of its time and Sega was way too ambitious with Sega net. At the time anyways, because most people couldn't utilize the Internet or even broadband.

I find occasionally I need to lower the in game resolution for solely PC games that have a lot of text to be able to read things clearly. Kerbal Space Program would be a good example.

@bigrob007: There's not one mention of Steam machines in this article.

The crazy thing is if you have the steam controller you can't use that either offline. Just discovered this yesterday and they need to address that.
