@couly @mrg4m4r74 We are not getting old, as I saw on myself not long ago. I have for the first time played and finished Arcanum and System Shock just 1-2 years ago, it was fantastic and same magic as we used to know. So no, we haven`t changed, games did.
@soccerpzn @eLite0101 Thats really up to you and I couldnt care less, but know that I have probably played more games in my life than all GS staff together and I know when I see a "value" in them or not. FarCry2 was also rubbish with mostly positive reviews all around the world when I saw it for what it was right away - it took time but eventually more and more people came with negative opinions as they figured out...
Anyway, each to his own, now go fetch those 10 raw meats ^_`.
Still seem like a great game. But AC series should come to and end and with satisfying conclusion, `cause if it drags longer then all its accumulated mystery and story will become dud.
In short, game is rubbish, just like DA2. Generic enemies, copycat of other games ideas(which weren`t great in the first place), generic generated loot(most likely according to your level), boring dialogs, enemy respawn - in fact spawnfest ala EA(tm) like right suddenly behind you etc.
GTA in the middle ages, but unlike Rockstar games there is no dignity, quality, uniqueness of characters and they awesome personalities, just a high production values and nice graphics. There is difference between well voiced character and true personality. Also on normal game is an action game not RPG, instead of being hard at least in the beginning and give you feel of progress, you already smash through everything that move and you really need to work for it to be able to actually die.
Not surprised it got 9/10, for me opposite: 1/10. Game for herd.
@picho86 @eLite0101 It doesnt change the fact that knight with a shovel is ridiculous. They could make it as a secondary item and adjust mechanics etc., not a main fighting weapon.
Such a fantastic retro screwed by not even taking itself seriously. Could have been new age Zelda-NES, Super Mario Bros(2,3), Gargoyle`s Quest 2 or maybe even Black Tiger. But... shovel? Really?! Atmosphere instant kill. Another indie "try to be funny" game.
@Xirtahm @eLite0101 I liked JC2 less than first one, Supreme Commander 2 much less than first one, Deus Ex HR way much less than first one, SD was actually good and TR was not TR I used to love but was still semi-enjoyable(but worse than first ones). Almost all of these western SE-published games, although somewhat still enjoyable were much worse and often in wrong direction than original ones from its series IMO. And now Murdered is another SE-published game with mixed reviews all around the net.
