It would also be nice to see some region-only titles that we never got in the US, even if they were in Japanese, it would be cool.

The wire does nothing but provide power for the sensor bar. It is just an array of IR LEDs, all the information is sent via the controller, not the sensor bar. Either you can buy a wireless sensor bar, or just construct one with a few dollars worth of parts from Radioshack.

Got in line about an hour before it launched and I got one no problem. They did run out of nunchucks by the time i got it though :X
