So i think X-2 is not a sequel to a sequel but only the sequel to X.

I dont understand what you mean with this. I dont have send my data to steam, so i dont think i am on the steam statistics.

Less PCs are sold every year. Is that so ? Because PC games are rising. So fewer people are buying more games or what ?

I can tell you one thing, if you are one of the "PC gaming is dead people". I hear this statement since Super Nintendo times. And it is still living. It is even getting bigger. More and more console exclusive games from past days are on PC now. Tekken, Steet Fighter, Metal Gear Solid 5 and so on. Resident Evil 7 right from the start on PC, would have been unthinkable at PS1 or PS2 times.

I remember when i had my Playstations (i always had PC and consoles btw.) PS2 had a lot of cool exclusive games, PS1 maybe even more. But nowadays more and more console games are now on PC too. And then there in better graphics of course. So if you think PC gaming is dead, you are very wrong i can tell you that.

Your first point is wrong too. You cant take the steam statistics, because a lot have turned off sending the statistics. And there are a lot of systems which are not meant to play serious games. I for myself have also a steam client on a working laptop. Of course this is only for some point and click adventures or tetris style games.

My first gaming pc wipes the ass with xbox hardware but is not sending any statistics to steam. And i know from friends with gaming pcs that they also have turned of this "feature".

So the steam statistics is basically wrong or at least gives you a wrong picture if you dont consider some things.

It would be similar like if you would take every nintendo DS and all this travel hardware to console statistics.

I dont know the exact percentage of gaming hardware, nobody knows that, but it is definately higher than 1 %, if you take the "serious" gaming pcs, not every laptop and vintage pc that are just there for running puzzle bobble and so on.

Are there really many adults playing this? For me this looks like a game for a teenage. Much Boom. Boring and flat jokes. Been there, seen that in movies and games 20 years ago.

2016 and gamespot still has no idea that flash video is a thing from the past and should not be used anymore.

I am in mission 6 now and start to hate this game.

Was enjoing it the first missions, but its to much trial and error. To much scripted alien attacks and therefore to much frustration.

Would not recommend it anymore.
