You are right. I regret it so much. My last CoD was MW1 and black Ops 1. MW1 was great on PC and BlackOps was ok i think. At least the singleplayer, mp i did not play.

And well, i believed all the lies about nextGen CoD and the faked video trailers underwater which looked good i thaught in the last days.

I did not expect the high end super cool game, just an good fast paced and entertaining singleplayer with maybe a fun to play multiplayer. I really did not expect this desaster. This fake, this piece of software garbage. I do not know what to say....

Believe me man, if i could i would put this game in the asses of the developers and then punch them in their lieing faces.

This game is an insult for every pc gamer. Shame on me for buying the lies and believing it would become a good game.

My biggest fail in buying a game in the past 20 years i think.

I bought this garbage for PC. It is a catastrophe on PC.

Complete unsharp textures in many many cases.

I played on 1920x1200 with everything maxed out, it looks like a PS3 game for me, i was shocked and even went three times back in the settings menu, because i thought there was a bug and he did not apply my settings for resolution and texture quality. But it did.

This game looks like shit in multiplayer.

Singleplayer looks better, but also average in the best.

Soundbugs, stuttering. No FOV setting. No separate settings for FX, music and speech, just one simple slider for Loudness. WTF ?

No serverbrowser.

Mouse in menus is lagging.

Video sequences between the missions are lagging and stuttering with the sound, so you do not understand everything and can not follow the "story".

No adjustable FOV, and the FOV is so close, i would guess 60 or so. You get sick while playing this on PC.

There are so many flaws with this broken product.....ah one thing more, the requirements:

they say 40GB HDD, NO, my folder is 32,5 GB so why do they say 40 ?
they say 6GB of RAM, NO, in taskmanager it never takes more than 1,85GB. so it would run with a requirement of 4GB if you take your OS additionally.

It seems they did not even know their own product and never really tested it for PC.

It also seems that they did not adjust it for PC at all, it is a fu... 1:1 PS4 cheap console port. And it looks like crap.

This is not only a disappointment, it is a fair swindle.

@Kentelyoo That is exactly what comes to my mind if i play Arma.
I love this huge areas and this realism and its tactic component.

If it could only be mixed with the fluent movement of Battlefield and his nice interface and user friendlyness it would be so amazing.

But sadly for me movement and interface just feels old and outdated.

But i will stay tuned with Arma for sure, but i have few hope left that it will become a better "steering".

@maitkarro @dobpat It was set to video/mp4 QucikTime plugin but it dows not work.

I have a feeling that it has to do with a wrong MIME Type maybe ? But i am no expert here :(

MIME says Flash and it is a wrapped mp4 file i think.

But why does safari play it then ?

I do not understand why if i am using Firefox the embedded video does not play. But if i filter the mp4 file out as link it plays as a quicktime. I have quicktime plugin installed btw.

And with safari browser, the embedded wideo is playing...

What can i do to let the video play in Firefox on Mac OS ?

@horselessheadsm @dobpat You can think what you want. But i am not from CA and for me the prologue went like i described. I even have now started a coop campaign with a friend and it runs well. One crash since then. Round about 6-8 hours of playtime within two sessions.

I have just finished the prologue and did not have bugs at all. and no crashes.

Maybe they will come in the main campaign...

But for me the game so far is not "unplayable", i had much fun in the prologue.

Lets see how the main part turns out :)

@shezmen Same for me here. I was somewhat dissapointed with BF3. Now they bring back features we already had in BF2 and praise it at "all new".

There comes Arma3 nearly at the same time. So no thanks EA.

I will at least skip BF4. Maybe full stop, if Arma 3 becomes what i think. Then i will never again play such arcade shit like BF.
