Battlefront 3 was being developed for ps3, ps2, wii, 360, pc by free radical, but financial difficulties closed the studio. They are now owned by Crytec. They made, IMHO, the best console FPS ever with the Timesplitters series. You are probably right, Elite Squadron is most likely what came out of the chaos.

I guess I was wrong again. The big surprise was an r2d2 xbox 360. Kinda cool, but I have no interest in a 360!

This job posting was on Spark Unlimited's site. I also read where LucasArts just licensed the Unreal 3 engine for use in a new game for PC and consoles.

Spark Unlimited and Lucas Arts are both signed up to be at Comic Con this month. You are correct though, it could be a different Star Wars game (TFU 3),

but I definitely think it's a Star Wars Game.

Game should be announced at Comic Con this year. Only things that worry me is the third person onlyand the fact that I only own a wIIright now. I much prefer first person and guess I will have to buy a ps3. Does anyone know if the rumored price drop is going to happen in the next few months? I have been seeing deals with free games and Amazon sold 160gb version for $199 as a deal one day.

My 5 year old DS lite has had a crack in the right hinge for about two years. Well, it finally cracked all of the way through and is beginning to crack all the way across (under the lcd). The system still works fine, but I was wondering if anyone has successfully replaced the shell on one. I read where you have to solder to fix it. I have no idea how to do that. Anyone have any simpler fixes?

Also, I just purchased a brand new dslite for my son. The system does not seem to be as tight to open. Are the new ones less likely to crack the hinge?

Which is the better game, and why? Is the ipod touch version much better than these? I am sure the graphics are, but I would think the control would not be so good without a stylus.

Thanks.

The system will not have ports for Gamecube controllers/Memory cards. Cannot confirm whether you can still play GCN games with an alternate controller though. GoNintendo Tweeted this info this morning. I am bummed about this as well. I still like to play the Rogue Squadron games as well Mario Golf. My son loves the gamecube games more than the wii games because of the controller.

Same here in Central Illinois. Both Wal Marts in town sold out. Best Buy and Target sold out as well.
