@gunslingersnafu: PS4 will still be around in 4 years, but I guarantee PS5 will be on shelves before Holiday of 2020. I usually like PlayStation much better than Microsoft consoles, but I really like the Microsoft is working on backward compatibility as well as forward compatibility. They already stated that XBox gamers will be able to carry their library with them going forward from here on out. Sony needs to step up and do the same before customers like Me switch so they don't have to worry about losing all of their games with the next generation (I don't have space for more than one console hooked up at a time...so keeping them all is not an option).
@nofreikinleoms: I agree 100%. There hasn't been one game that convinced Me to buy a system this gen. My son has a PS4, and I occasionally play it, but not enough to have my own. I thought Star Wars Battlefront would do it, but I still like the original Battlefront 1 from 2004 the best. I would much rather play Bad Company 2 over any online PS4 or Xbox One FPS.
@Xristophoros: I really thought they would announce Diablo 3 and Black Ops 4. I'm sure there are many fans happy with these announcements, but I don't like Smash Brothers games...so really not much here for me. If they don't port this COD to the Switch, I doubt they port any others in the future. We know Red Dead, Battlefront series, and Battlefield are not coming either. These will be the biggest sellers this year...all on everything but Switch. I'm not saying Switch will be a failure, but without these huge sellers, the majority of gamers will buy a PS4 or an Xbox one first.
@markswaine1: Exactly! Wanted Bespin and Trench run in offline as I cannot compete with the teenagers and twenty years olds. I am a father of four, and in my 40s. I only play offline...so for me the DLX was a waste...and so would Battlefront 2 be for me. If they add more offline modes to BF2...I will buy.
@Smokin105: my son has this, but I refuse to buy a copy until Starfighters and Galactic Assault are offline modes. Right now, I find the first game so much more enjoyable due to the offline and split screen options. The first one lags much less as well. Battlefront 2 has much better graphics and I prefer the heroes in this one. I wish you could combine the gameplay of the new one with the options of the 2015 one=Fantastic game!
