I had the same thing happen to me. I paid for the extended warranty from microsoft and they covered it no charge. Bought mine in feb of 07 lasted till this may.
I just basically posted the same question. Wish I would have seen yours first. You used to be able to look at the stickers on the side of the box and it would give the wattage of the system. I checked a few today and they no longer have the wattage listed. Supposedly the Jasper is to have wattage below 175.
