Thats what I heard too. Now MS needs to drop the price of the Elite to $399 and release a new Elite with a 65nm CPU and GPU with a 250gb hd for $449

I dont care. CoD 5 better be at least twice as long as CoD 4 though.

The primary cause of failure is not the CPU, it is the GPU, which is still 90nm.

You'll still have the RROD problem. No 65nm GPU in current 360's. 65nm GPU will be in the new 60 gig version.

How do we know your not a Fanboy? Whatever, check page 114 on the Broken 360 discussion and information thread on the main 360 forum page. You will see my input on tracking my 360. I took great care of it, wide open space, elevated so that air could get around it, etc.. Your best bet will be to wait till this September/October for the new 360's with the 65nm chipsets for both CPU and GPU.

You will get the RRoD inevitably. The GPU will eventually become detached from the motherboard. The heat that the system creates will eventually cause the GPU chip to become detached. ie.. the heatsinks will break, etc....
