It doesn't redirect anymore, the CSS adjusts the site layout on the fly, depending on screen size. It's called responsive design.

Also I don't have either of those problems. Using Chrome on iOS 7.

Also the nav bar following you when you scroll down is brilliant.

Usernames are cut off on the side of the post, but the full username is at at the top.

I'd like the community tab to have a drop-down with links to the specific forum boards, like Giant Bomb has.

Maybe also have quick links to the most recent reviews in a drop-down from the Reviews tab (again, like Giant Bomb).

I second the bread crumb trail at the bottom of the forum page as well.

New site is a lot better.

Navigating is easier, it's much less busy, video page doesn't break if you zoom in, videos don't keep playing forever, the review page is beautiful, and the site actually scales to mobile screens instead of having a broke-ass mobile site.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. Then again, every redesign ever gets complaints. Same story with every single Gamespot redesign.
