"Following the game's huge success on PS4 and Xbox One, PUBG is headed to mobile." Might want to rewrite the subtitle on the Gamespot landing page as this quote isn't quite right. PUBG has not appeared on PS4 and has yet to release on Xbox One. The game was a success on PC.
@Zero_Maniac: Yeah, the Switch isn't all too powerful to handle any particularly demanding mods. My experience with mods on consoles (Xbox One - Fallout 4) is that they are better than I expected but still, as you'd imagine, quite limited.
That being said, there are folks out there who love vanilla Skyrim and might be looking for an excuse to return to the game on Switch, or simply those who haven't played it at all. Who knows? I knows it's not something I am interested in personally but others might be. :)
This seems like a very good version of the game. Personally, I have already played the game quite a bit on PC with mods on top so I won't be picking this one up for my Switch.
It seems like a good version for those looking to take vanilla Skyrim on the go. Well done on the port. :)
Businesses are expected to find new ways to make money, but one would hope that this isn't at the expense of fun. Regarding a video game, you would hope that game flow and progression would not be tampered with in the effort to seek new ways to monetize video games.
Understandably, such decisions have been met with a negative reception from the community. When it is very clear the rewards for progression have been designed around making money rather than making a player feel satisfied and balanced with their progress and the time they have spent playing, they will take notice. I feel in this circumstance, DICE shouldn't be surprised by the response they have received from their community and fans. :(
Hopefully they look back on this decision and improve the game for the better.
