@matthew23x12: I hear you man. I remember that one Friday night in particular when a friend of mine and I completed a Nightfall (we were only 2) and it took us about an hour and 15 mins. Grinding down the enemy persistently and just barely staying alive and resurrecting each other.

At the end our palms were all sweating but we had the most memorable gaming experience of our lives. Almost 2 years later and we still talk about it.

Yes time, Destiny does consume so much of it and its my fault that it happens. Your words of wisdom do not fall on deaf ears since we definitely cannot win back time. As much as I'm liking D2 I always make time for my GF and family.

I played over 600 hours in Destiny 1 and I must say that Destiny 2 is by all means an amazing improvement over the first game. Bungie really did do an amazing job. The Campaign story is o much better and more coherent. Caide's lines are hilarious and brings a very nice touch to it.

After the Campaign Im having so much fun doing Adventures. You see D2 awards you by spending time with the Game. In 1 Adventure alone(Black Oil) I receive 2 Legendaries and 1 Exotic). In addition the public events are so much fun also. Sometimes I browse the map to fast travel to the next event and then join in. The payoff is good and loot drops are abundant.

The Strikes give you a a very good challenge and coordination is really the key to completing them. Im at 243 Power now and will attempt a Nightfall Strike later on today.

The environments are very beautiful and diverse.

If you are on the fence about getting this game, do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't regret it.

@Acquire: install: "turn off the lights" plugin for your browser. Works great for me and frees the autoplay from so many other sites also.

There will be a lot of content for PvE. In fact i put in hundreds of hours in Destiny1 and never played 1 crucible match. I only Played PvE COOP strikes/RAIDS. The game runs amazing in 4k with my GTX 1080 and maxed out settings(using FXAA).

Cant wait to the full version to come out in October. Its runs so super smooth at 60+ FPS. Bungie did a fantastic job on the PC version.

Played the Beta on my LG 21:9 and GTX1080 and WOW !! The game's Graphics are totally amazing and its buttery smooth at 60+ FPS. The Keyboard and mouse controls work perfectly for this game and are spot on. Bungie did an amazing job bringing this to the PC. Can't wait till the full package comes out in November.

I was contemplating getting this for the PS4 or PC but so glad I choose the PC version. This is really how the game should be played.

Doom 2016 holds the bar for being the most graphically beautiful game to this date. If ever you get to play this at over 60 FPS on Ultra at 4K, its a pure Eye Candy. The ID Tech Engine with the Vulkan Drivers are amazingly optimized. Wish other gaming companies would learn optimization techniques as good as this.

@sephirothswing: Grenades do take forever to charge and the supers definitely do not last long enough(I kept on looking down to see if it would re-charge by xmas). It seems this was purposely implemented by Bungie(better change by when the game releases). Hit detection/collision seems like its still a work in progress.

Bungie for crying out loud get rid of the raised floor over floor(you know those 1 foot slabs over the floor). It only obstructs and kills the flow of the game.

@spartanx169x: You probably can get around 5-6fps more with optimizations but certainly not 20+. Thats being said my GTX 1080 founders edition with my i7 6core computer has a lot of trouble hitting 60fps at 4k with the majority of games and the GTX 1080 does 11Teraflops of processing power.

I believe that MS should not have marketed or targeted the X1X as a 4K console since natively, thats the furthest thing from the truth. Only by checkerboarding/upscaling in the majority of cases can they reach 4K at 60 FPS.
