The C&C Ultimate Collection (available on Amazon for $20 right now) has Red Alert in it, and it's officially updated and made to run on Vista and Windows 7. Along with all the other old ones.

The fact that so many people think that ADHD is just a concentration issue is disturbing to me. Everyone is talking about ADHD as if they know everything about it, but in reality they have never read up on it.

Because I have. The "diagnosis" procedures are a joke, and not the least bit scientific. The means by which the drugs work aren't known, even by the people making them. It's a sham. And there's actually a  lot  of evidence to support the idea that it's a sham.

The very name of the "disorder" gives you a clue as to how obviously made up it is. Attention Deficit Disorder? To suggest that there can be a  deficit  of attention, is to suggest that there is a finite amount of attention, and a proper amount to have.

It's a concentration issue. Nothing more. Except in cases where people have other, actual disorders, which contribute to the alleged "symptoms" associated with ADD/ADHD. Sorry you bought into the propaganda of the pharmaceutical-industrial complex.

Yeah it is so easy to get a doctor convinced you have ADHD. All you have to do is say you have a hard time focusing in class and bam.

Seriously. You know what elementary school-age kids  don't  have ADHD? The ones who's parents haven't taken them to a doctor and complained.

Just read your article. It doesn't refute the claim. All it does is say that the actual quote uses the word "fabricated", rather than "fictitious". It then mentions a quote from a Harvard psychologist who agrees. He (the harvard psychologist) straight up said that it's nothing but an invention to sell drugs (which is laughably obvious when you read anything about how ADHD medication "works").

Even in the proper context, he still said it's bullshit.

I absolutely think it was. A society based upon the defining tenets of objectivism is shown in disarray, crumbling, with all manner of exploitive characters? I think it was an implicit refute, and I think overall it handled the subject matter quite well. I happen to also think objectivism is a load of b/s that wanna be intellectuals and capitalists that don't wanna be called as much love to espouse though, so maybe I'm biased on the whole thing. =P

maybe... I don't know though. What he did is inhumanly sick. If I were related to someone who did that, I'd disown them from my family, burn any family photos with him in them, and deny the relation. I did that once already, with a cousin I had who raped a few girls. I was at the sentencing hearing when the judge gave him 20 years.
