@Barighm: I'm a filthy console bandit myself and this gen switched from MS to Sony, wanted try a different games out. I digress, as for sheer graphical outout, a friend of mine recently overhauled his already impressive pc and showed me the Witcher 3 runing with everything at top whack... holy cow! The image made my socks blast off it was so good! One of these days I really must start saving pennies and get back into pc gaming! Last games I played on my PC were Thief the metal age and No one lives forever haha!
I'm super keen for this! Fingers crossed it's a solid game on release an not to many bugs. Really looking forward to get stuck into a new rpg this winter!
Wow?! Lots of hating on the graphics here guys. Wouldn't you rather take a small hit on appearances if that means your gonna get a truly great gaming experience? Personally, if the graphics are a little dated I'm not gonna care that much, I can still play fantasy land Dizzy on an old commodore right now and really enjoy it.... damn, now I want to! A solid engine, good story and gameplay with lots to do and explore, I'll be happy camper.
@TeknoBug: I will agree. I live in eastern Canada and the choices for Internet here honestly aren't great, I got lucky earlier this year when I changed to a new provider who could offer high speed fibre of 30mbs and the difference is incredible (used to be about 1.5-2mbs). I can relate to how some people feel about always online games, if your Internet connection is poor, through no fault of your own, you simply have to suffer.
Finished this a few days ago, loved every moment! Great, character driven story and a very good ending. I'm already desperate for dlc (sorry to say that) or a sequel to answer a few questions but rest assured, ant of you who are on the fence about Soma should definitely give it a try!
