@lastofus234: apparently there is 1 in the expansion and there is 1 towards the end of the main game, you can get 3 from root chalice dungeons in chests and I have had 2 drop from chalice layer 3 bosses, though I'll be honest, I have no idea if there is a method to getting them or they are simply just a very rare drop/find in the chalice dungeons? I've not finished the expansion yet so can't comment on the bloodrocks there. I know a lot of people were using an early version glitch to duplicate bloodrocks, to my knowledge this has since been patched. You can check online for other users who have chalice glyph codes for bloodrocks dungeons, I think you can only have 1 per root chalice type though I'm not sure, anyone else reading this with more info, feel free to chime in.
@lastofus234: well I'm a fan of the series so in my opinion that's money well spent, just remember to be careful how you spend those damn rare bloodrocks!
@jdlok: haha I remember a buddy of mine saying how much he hated it and how naff it was, we hung out one weekend and I gave him some pointers to pass.... yep, you guessed it, that first mob haha. Now he's hooked!
@pasullica: it is frustrating, I stopped pc gaming a long time ago, hope to go back to it sometime soon, after that I was an Xbox flavored guy and now I'm on the ps4. I've missed a lot of exclusives at different times and like you said it does feel like your feeding the cash cow. However these days I'm just borrowing friends console to play older exclusive titles, Demons souls for example, possibly a friends x1 soon to check out tomb raider. These days I personally try my best to support the smaller,budding developers, feels like they deserve the money more and to be fair I seem to be playing these games much more than most AAA titles at the moment. Fingers crossed for Axiom Verge 2!
I know this isn't the normal place to post but I don't get how blood rocks work? I have found 3 in chalice root dungeons in chests and have found 2 in the main game from under the motherbrain (ng+). I understood that you could only get 3 from chalice dungeons yet I have another 2 that dropped from defeating the layer 3 boss on pthumerian root dungeons (just basic dungeon, no fetid etc). Are they just stupid rare drops now or will they show up randomly in dungeon chests?
@lastofus234: as the other guy said, way more than a few hours dude. I'm rather overpowered on my current and first trek through the dlc but I'm really enjoying searching every little spot I can find incase of more items/lore etc. I have a few friends from Oz and they said similar to you about prices, it's a shame but perhaps keep it in mind for the future? Could great after a few months to get the complete edition and go through the whole lot and dlc together.
@comethadone: fair point, though as much as the story telling of souls games drove me nuts to start with, once I began taking an extended look at all the stuff in my inventory then the clues start to emerge and slowly the story forms around it. I won't lie to you, I have been to Vaatividya's channel a few times but just to confirm what I'm thinking. It's a very different way type of narative and extreme lack of hand holding, though initially odd and frustrating does eventually male for a fresher experience. Let your imagination run with it bro, that's part of the fun.
