@shadowhunter0 Wow! That is awesome. I think 360 is the highest I've scored so far. Unfortunately the work week has started, and I probably won't have time to play again until Thursday. Damn work! :)
@shadowhunter0 @bonander That's to bad about the summons. I just got a non-elemental one. I haven't tried it yet. Sanguine Cannon has become my best friend. The first time I fought a slime, it took me about 20 mins to defeat. I tried him again with just the sanguine cannon and healing spells, and he was down in 2:24 mins. It was awesome. But I am finding that I don't score to high at the end. I suppose I still need to hit enemies with their weakness to help my end score.
@shadowhunter0 @bonander Nice. I'm going to have to try that on a harpy. I think I'm going to put all my focus on upgrading my healing spells too. I'm excited! lol
@shadowhunter0 That article was informative, thanks. I didn't think about using a regen healing seed.
I noticed the the change with 3 stars when I was playing the demo, and not being able to upgrade further. That was the final push to just go get the full game. lol.
It isn't my main attack, but I do always have it as 1 of my 6. If I end up choosing the wrong offerings for a new enemy, then I might be able to pull off a victory with it. It works great for a last resort. Before a black rite is needed I suppose. Which I haven't had to use yet. I'm mainly grinding up my offerings instead of advancing the story for now.
@shadowhunter0 I have a divine arm. I'm currently 13/11. I don't know if it will matter in the end, but if there is a "good" path to victory, I'm going to try to take it. Unless it makes things a lot more difficult later on. It seems to do pretty good so far. I can use "Sanguine cannon" a lot and that seems to tear enemies a new one.
@shadowhunter0 Cerberus wiped the floor with me, lol. I went in ill equipped, so I expected to die. It was a test. I lacked the right offerings anyways (after googling what I'd need) :) And getting the needed offerings seemed like a pain because of being held back by the demo version, so I went ahead and picked the full game up. I haven't regretted it. In fact, it's taken up most of the 14 hours since my last post, lol. I'm addicted. I'm really glad I gave the demo a second chance.
@shadowhunter0 Well, I'm a little embarrassed. That one little thing is making a huge difference. I somehow read that "killing" just increased magic power. Running out of offering casts hasn't been a problem now. I'm having a lot more fun with the game as well. The harpy battle was actually fun the second time around. I think I might be ready to take on Cerberus. ...Maybe after I boost a couple more offerings. I just might have to pick up the full game later.
@shadowhunter0 Interesting. Thanks for the info. I mostly "saved" instead of "kill". I would find the points were you replenish offerings, but I'd use them up quick, and the refresh on them takes to long. I try to use the right element, but I can't tell which one are working or not. I have a hard time even telling if I'm landing anything, unless it is a melee or homing attack. I was only using minds eye to see the monsters health. I didn't realize it also showed environmental stuff. I'll have too try the demo some more.
I definitely fall under the "impatient" category. I haven't had a game frustrate me like this in a while. I'm not a fan of the "offering" system at all. I am so tired of failing quests because I run out of offering casts that I can't do anything else but run around hoping my companions will finish the job (it never happens). I'd sacrifice my soul to just have a good old fashioned sword and shield. I do hope the game does well. Its success can only help the vita. I'm just so disappointed that this game isn't for me. I was really looking forward to it.
