Wow! So many complaints about an 8.0 score. Last I checked that meant "great". A score of 10 should be near impossible. I can't think of a single game that I'd give a 10 too.
I'll never forget the RRoD and XBL Gold. After my first 360 RRoD'd on me, my PS3 became my primary console (PC is still my main gaming device). That defect is unforgivable. And XBLG is a complete rip off. I don't play multi-player in any game. I only wanted to use Netflix but I had to pay MS as well to use it. F*** that! The PS4 will be my only console this gen.
This is a pass. None of that crap appeals to me. I hardly watch live TV. Even if I did, I bet they don't support my cable provider. I'll never use kinect because I play games in complete darkness. And they kept XBL (the biggest rip off I know). It looks like PC and PS4 will be my only gaming machines for the next gen. Xbox now joins Nintendo in my gaming graveyard.
I have definitely been desensitized. But only to simulated violence, such as games and movies. I'll laugh when I see someone get decapitated or dismembered in a game or movie. But if I were to see that happen in the real world, I would probably sh*t myself and faint. So while I have been desensitized, I haven't been desensitized in any negative way. I can just view FAKE violence in a humorous way. It has had no effect on my view of real-world-violence.
@shadowhunter0 @bonander I could play it at work. I do take my vita with me, but I use it to watch TV/movies. I tend not to play games at work. I can't control my outbursts when things don't go my way in a game. My fear is that I'll scream out the F word, or make up some new curse words, as I'm known for doing (lol), and a guest will come around the corner. I'm the Night Auditor at a hotel, so guests are sleeping around me at all times.
