@voreo: They apparently had a huge opening in China, almost raking in 50.000.000 on the first day alone. But the things is, box office and Blu Ray sales aren't the only way for Blizzard to "measure" the succes of the movie: the rise in monthly subscriptions that they're bound to see after this movie has dropped all around the globe will be a huge incentive to competle that trilogy/ quadrilogy..... / decalogy to keep that Warcraft universe alive!

FOR THE ALLIANCE!!

F*ckin awesome movie! The reason why the orcs are so relatable in this movie is because half (or more) of the people who ever played WoW were part of the Horde themselves. I see so many people online giving "their" opinions by rechewing what critics said without fully realizing it's okay to like a movie that's not critically acclaimed.

These critics are all 55+ and grew up on Tolkien books but most of them have never played a game, let alone Warcraft of WoW. So for me it's no wonder they don't understand what's going on, they're of a different generation. Gamers are used to this kind of storytelling where you yourself fill in the blanks and we normally don't need the exposition that's common in movies and TV.

I'm not saying this is the next Citizen Kane, but for any gamer under the age of 40 with the slightest interest in fantasy, this is a solid 8/10; for everyone who played Warcraft or WoW, no matter the age, this is a 9/10. Be grateful this movie is more "game" than "Hollywood", it's made for the fans and the fans only!

It actually sold over 10 million copies! I know, I couldn't believe it either. I hope Titanfall 2 will give CoD a run for its money and shows it how futuristic shooters are done. Everything about the first TF was so much better than what CoD has done the last 5 years or so and now people with a PS4 get to enjoy it as well. Overwatch aside, cause I'm still not sure I'm comfortable calling that a FPS, Titanfall is the best first person shooter I've played since CounterStrike got me hooked somewhere in the early 2000s and I just want others to experience the traversal, the way it manages to make everyone feel important and most of all: the Titans! Cause even after all those hours, I still get an adrenaline boost when entering my Titan.

This might sound like madness, but could it be we both ordered it at different retailers and mine was apparently wrong? I only ordered the CE because it said it would include a Tracer statue, it even had a picture of the figure next to it. I remember it vividly because I would've never ever ordered this knowing it would have Soldier 76 (they even gave him this name as a joke) in it; they could've picked every other character and I would've ordered it, but this is the most bland one of the bunch.

Wait! What? When I ordered it I'm positive it said it would come with a Tracer figure, you know, one that actually makes sense. I'm glad I bothered watching this: CE cancelled!

I really hope I'm wrong, but I do get kind of a Devil's Third-sy feel from what little they've shown so far. Then again: a Devil's Third with good controls and better visuals would actually be awesome!

I honestly don't think we'll ever see a van Ord again; I honestly mistakenly called him Kevin van Gogh several times, which is more a Freudian slip than anything else. He didn't just play and rate games it seemed, he flawlessly acted a part; he transformed into a lover of the genre the game was in just so he could rate a game on the right terms. Never once did I feel he was the CoD player rating a JRPG or the other way around, he knew what he was talking about and when he decided to ruthlessly "demolish" a franchise or game I loved, I could easily accept it knowing that it wasn't politics or preferences talking, it was van Ord.

So as far as van Goghs go in gamejournalism, he was one.
