@fisherking: "Yellow" reviews are sometimes well written, but overall metacritic ratings are only good for examining any discrepancy between pro and user ratings.

Like Dragon Age II...82 vs 44, huge difference. More realistic would be 6.

As much as players tend to overreact, pro critics "tend" to overlook, when it comes with games published by the likes of EA, Ubisoft, etc.

Compare ratings of all games considered great, even ten years after their release.

@jdlok: And you can stop pretending your opinions are "facts". I enjoyed exploration more in WH than in Skyrim and Fallout III combined. Handcrafted environments with far higher level of authenticity than in any open world games...cities that actually resemble cities, forest that actually feel like forests... And there is more side quality content to discover that are better written than in other games entire main storylines.

@clugaman: Mods on consoles will be extremely limited next to Pc...no additional scripting functions that are required for more "intensive" mods, like SKSE for instance.

Well, I don't give a damn about these GOTY awards...Witcher was a great, emotional ride for an rpg, felt like a child of two of my favorite titles ( RDR/Ocarina). This will be a great counterpart when it comes to experiencing a completely different world, game play or atmosphere.

Despite not being much of a looker, this is a Bethesda title I'm looking forward to most since Morrowind.

Here we go again.

First a Witcher fan will show up and say: "GOTY! GOTY! Witcher is a GOTY"

Then an angry Bloodborne fan will step up and say: "Overrated garbage! Nothing beats Bloodborne!"

MGS V player will spot this and yell: " GOTY Kojima game,,a Hideo Kojima game!".

This is becoming more and more histerical...even six year old's don't throw these fits over who has a number one toy in their kindergarten.

@Sanligo: From what I've seen in videos...worse. Lot worse. Feels like a mess and less organized than Mass Effect, with lower quality writing and very poor( though sometimes funny) facial animations.

@jdlok: You really need to get better at trolling. Novigrad alone, had more thematic and art style variety than the entirety of Bloodborne. And good job finding anything than mindless hack&slash there, my dear "objective person".

And you go ahead and try to jump over a rock or hug a wall in that game...when the game decides to detect what is in front of you. Don't forget to pick up any DLC while you're at it....horse armor seems a blast.
