I heard Gran Turismo (don't know which one) doesn't keep your old saves if you transfer them from a USB stick... I think it might be to do with PSN connectivity and past online records not matching(???). I would really like to know if any other games are affected, like psone games, warhawk, wipeout hd, tekken dr online etc. I may end up doing the full backup procedure if they are affected by this, or if they deduct one of the 5 downloads from my records. I have a 320 gig hard drive waiting to be installed whilst I figure out this problem.

Does anyone have the online beta? I do, but I'm having trouble-

I want to make an elevator that only works when 2 people stand on switches at the same time. Right now, I can't get it to happen, because you can't daisy-chain switches like in real life, i've played a user-created level called heist, which has a combination lock using magnetic switches, and only opens when you get the right combination of dice in the holes - how did they do that?? is there a way of getting this to work? Only thing I can think of is having 2 pistons with a piece of material in between and one switch activates one piston the other activates the other, and so they only extend half way if only one is pressed- but i want the elevator to not work at all unless both are pressed.

a skyscraper level, where u jump off rooftops, a spider-man and tarzan swingy levels. i was trying to make a level on the beta version where u ride inside a barrel down some hills but sackboy usually dies or falls out, but it can be done... only thing is the camera zooms in and u cant enjoy the epicness of the level, i tried to make an axle and thing in the middle where u hold on so that it stays still whilst the outside rotates as you go down the hill, that would be much cooler.. definately making loads of skateboard and rocket-car levels. also wondering about a bouncy level like the whole world is a bouncy castle, but not sure if theres a material that can do that. would like to make a tall castle tower level with lots of traps and moving platforms and ways of falling down the tower, that would be sweet. you would have to rescue sack girl or something and maybe fight a baddy after zip-lining down from the tower. theres also potential for timed obstacle courses!

theres some good reviews on it

and also the samsung spinpoint MP2 HM251JJ, but i couldnt find it, these are 3 of the fastest according to tom's hardware.I really want a 320 gig 7200rpm sata-300 drive but its wierd, you pay £40 more for a brand new model! same basic specs (although older ones perform less well on the tests)

The second link has reviews of some ps3 owners including info about the swap process and the jumper which has to be removed in order to utilise the full speed of the drive.

Here is an excerpt from a psu webarticle.

"Where is the title now? Canceled. We contacted Konami earlier this week to get an official comment on the current status of Coded Arms: Assault. One of their representatives responded stating that for now, Konami is no longer working on the PlayStation 3 version of Coded Arms.

"There are no current plans to bring Coded Arms: Assault to the PS3 at this time," remarked a Konami representative.

Tough luck to all the fans hoping the game was still alive.

i thought it was pretty good, it had infinite levels due to random generator, but imho psp isnt designed for fps.

yes dude, you will have to download your map packs and everything, and as long as you remember your password and username for psn id, it will allow you to re-download everything again. (if you dont remember password you can change it on the pc psn store website, and confirm via email, then remember to change the auto sign in password on your ps3 and make sure it works)

edit- almost forgot... it shouldn't charge you for downloading games/map packs again, but i've heard a rumour downloaded movies cannot be redownloaded unless you phone up sony, and they will let you do it only once as a courtesy thing.

I was looking forward to that game, the visuals looked cool with all the digitised stuff floating around like The Matrix. Was it cancelled, or could it still be coming out? Maybe Konami put it on hold whilst they worked on MGS4 and PES?
