I hate achievements too and I hate gamers that care so much for them. "I got more achievements than you so you suck!" OMG its like any game sux if theres no achievements so some d-bags can so off about. Pathetic.
I'm thinking about picking up Gears of War. Even though I dont play online meaning I'll just play the campaign, I found it for $10 bucks. Worth it? Will it last if I dont play online?
I don't want to go through some silly event or do something that may take me years just to capture every pokemon. Ever since the R/S/E games, I have given up trying to capture every pokemon. Its getting ridiculous to me.
I just bought a couple of days ago a DS LITE. I already had a Prehistoric DS xD but I was thinking in one of those 2 consoles. And finally I decided for the Ds Lite. The only thing I was looking forward for the nintendo DSi was the internet browser (which sucks in a regular ds) but it seems that internet browser in DSi sucks too so... I wont spend more money in something I wont use.. For example: camara? Even a watch nowadays has a camara. We all have one in our cellphones. Why do we want more? And I dont really think they're tking that much camara using games...

I'm thinking of getting a DS Lite. The DSi has so many useless features. I have an ipod touch for mobile internet and music playing. The camera is really useless for me. Also, I miss some GBA games I want to play.
Nintendo prides itself on it's games being able to be played by children so why would they go out of their way to interfere with that?
All Nintendo games are built to be able to be played by someone 4 years old and someone 94 years old, that's their thing
Easy accessible games that anyone can play.
If thid parties want to advertise they can do that but for Nintendo they would just damage their brand

I see what u mean. Makes sense. However, they dont even advertise Smash Brothers Brawl. Thats a first-party game from Nintendo. And I remember Metroid Prime 3 being advertised once.
Its because we are seeing games like Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Nerf, Bakugan, Teacher School trip, and other family games being advertised on t.v. but we rarely see Madworld, Metroid, Zelda, Resident Evil, Dead Space Extraction, House of Dead, or even Muramasa on t.v. ads. Especially in the U.S. And unlike some of those people, I actually look up what "other" games the Wii has and I find so much "T" and "M" rated games not advertised. An ordinary person who may not know much about most of the Wii library would think that the Wii and DS are "only for kids". Why don't we see more "T" and "M" rated Wii games advertised on t.v.? I won't be surprised if games like Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Monster Hunter Tri and Sin and Punishment 2 won't be advertised on t.v. Here in the U.S. at least.
