The PSV, with all its potential, is getting owned by the 3DS. Sony, please stop feeding us this PR BS and actually deliver.

For those worried PC's will die, relax. People who claim death of PC's simply don't understand the full extent of a PC's necessity. For people who just use facebook, browse the web, etc. PC's aren't necessary. It's in these areas where PC's will lose sales. But there are too many tasks where the full capability of a PC is necessary, be it at work, for college, or for games.

One day, tablets may be able to perform these PC oriented tasks. There's still no need to worry since if tablets can do everything PC's can, we can just migrate to tablets instead.

The only thing that worries me is how MS handles the Windows OS. Will they accept that they can't cater to tablets and focus on making a good PC OS? Will they be able to make an OS that excels at both tablets and PC's? Or will they end up doing a poor job at both and croak?

Surface RT - Same limitations as other tablets with worse app support.

Surface Pro - Too expensive, too heavy, too big, low battery life, and low usable internal storage.

Still, pretty excited for Pro's future as these issues get addressed.

Remember when mounts were all obtained from the game? Now we have some mounts where players have to pay real money. But it's OK. These are optional and ignorant gamers support this.

Months later...

Hey guys, we saw that the ignorant gamers love bending over for us so now, we're going to be selling XP for money. But it's OK. These are optional and ignorant gamers support this.

Months later...

We love money. The ignorant gamers keep supporting our bad decisions without realizing that all these are tests to see how far we can push our greed. Now, you have to pay money in order to be able to raid. But it's OK. These are optional and ignorant gamers support this.

Months later...

Now, we're making you pay to unlock leveling zones, max level, dungeons, auction house, skills, professions, guilds, etc. Some ignorant gamers are finally realizing the consequences of their actions and now, our subscription is down to 500k. But it's OK. There are still some ignorant gamers and we're going to increase subscription fees to $50 a month to compensate.

Simple. Obviously, people are talking about more than just power consumption.

If the 8-bit NES is re-released without any need for a power source, would you consider that current gen and play that over the PS4, XOne, PC, etc.?

Plus, it does no good laying off the good employees actually responsible for making good games for the benefit of dumb stock holders and other higher-ups who know nothing of games... and actually ruin their companies by trying to nickel and dime gamers.

Third party titles shouldn't go exclusive, period. Companies can make more money from having a wider audience than on just one console and gamers can decide which version (or versions) suits their needs better.

I personally wish every third party game is also available on portables and PC's.

It's this kind of ignorance that has me concerned. Back then, Blizzard created rested XP and heirlooms to help with faster leveling. Now Blizzard wants to test real life money for these perks and some people have no idea that supporting this kind of model will create even more micro-transactions. Before you know it, companies will charge you real life money to unlock leveling zones, unlock max level, unlock skills, unlock gears, unlock dungeons, etc. Some companies are already testing this and ignorant gamers don't have the foresight to stop this before it gets out of hand.

Let's not mistake "culture" with ignorant and narrow minded people who cry foul at anything that they don't agree with, and try to get those banned even if i has nothing to do with them nor causes any real harm.

Personally, these days, I rarely buy a game without trying it out first. A side effect of going digital-only since I'm stuck with what I buy. Also, I rarely buy games at over $20 these days for the same reason as above.

By trying to gouge more money from me through fake DLC, DRM, and anti-used games policy, greedy companies pushed me to spend much less money on new games these days.

That's karma.
