I figure i'll add my 2 cents.

I bet Shepard isn't dead, since if he's bad enough to beat Saren, then what in the universe is bad enough to kill him?? Also, ya'll are right, Anders wasn't the first human Spectre, he was on a misson with Saren and Saren screwed him. The first book goes into a lot of detail into what happened. I think there's a 2nd book, has anyone read it? Is it worth the time to read it?

Mass Effect

Hey, yes the first one, Fall of Reach, was good but don't expect it to be the next "great American novel", but for a Halo fan should be worth the time to read it. I started the 2nd one which is a remake of the 1st game, and stopped since it didn't tell me much more then I already knew. I have the 3rd one but haven't read it.

I did read the 1st Mass Effect book and it was good. I knew they were coming out with a 2nd one but didn't know it was out. I'll have to go get it!!

Yea, both the single player and multiplayer were both awesome! The best map was the beach, and when I was an Ally I would get a sniper rifle and hide on the hill on the beach and none of the Nazi's could get you.

BTW, if i'm remembering correctly, they are making a new version of this game for the 360.

I'd recommend a Premium system since its $100 cheaper and you never know when Microsoft will update the 360 with some newer features you might want. The HDMI port is not a big deal if you don't have a 1080p TV. I just have a 720p TV and the 360 without HDMI looks better then HD satellite with HDMI.

On the game front, I'd recommend Mass Effect (which you already have), Halo 3, Forza 2 (if you want a true sim, or PGR3 which would be cheap or PGR4), and Gears of War. Also, some games that come out this year that look great are NCAA Football 09, Civilzation, Too Human, and Gears 2.

I agree with everyone else, I get tired of playing on Live because of all of the kids screaming in their mic's for no good reason, so I need some older Live friends!! I just got done playing Mass Effect, so anyone older who wants to add me, send me an invite and let me know where you found me.
