Burnout Legends, God of War (when it comes out), either one of the Syphon Filter games, Wipeout Pure, Final Fantasy Tactics, Castlevania Symphony of the Night ($10 on Playstation store). There really are quite a few good games to get for the thing, just keep your eyes open! And, if you're getting your PSP from Gamecrazy, just remember that they'll let you try any game you want.

The screens are considerably brighter on the Lite and the stylus is far more comfortable. I would recommend the Lite over the original, but it's really your choice. A preowned original DS at Gamestop is $80 vs $100-$110 for a used Lite.

On the XMB (the main screen) of the PSP, go all the way to the left most icon. Once there, go up to the top one in that column, it will say "Network Update." If you have a wifi connection set up on your PSP, hit X to go into the update checker. Once it connects to the server, it will check for updated firmware. If you have the newest version, it will tell you so, but if not, it will prompt you to download the newest one. It takes about 25-26MB on a memory stick. once the thing downloads, you can start installing the update, but you can't install it if your PSP is plugged in to the AC adaptor. Once the installation starts, it takes a few hits on the X button to confirm things, then it does its thing. Once your PSP restarts, you can delete the firmware update from your Memory stick. To do that, go to the game icon on your XMB and go down to the one that says Memory stick. the firmware will show up, hit triangle to bring up the options, and then hit delete.

They don't have them. If you go to PSP.com, there's only like eight or nine demos, a couple more from playstation.com, and two on the PC to PSP store (they're not really doing all that well with the thing IMO). I would like to see considerably more demos coming to the PSP ala XBox Live and PSN (for the PS3).

I think the real issue is that you even bought that game...

Live is awesome, but if it came down to the choice of Live or a new console/handheld, Live would have to wait. If it was Live vs. just a new game, I'd go with Live, but you can't beat opening yourself up to a whole new library of games.

I found a cheap five dollar pair of earbuds near a register at Walmart, and they work great. As far as suggestions, check the electronics departments of any big discount store and you'll probably find something good.
