Mine is alright except for the freaking dust under the faceplate... at least it's not visible while I'm playing.

Burnout would be my choice. I own both and have to say that while Wipeout is awesome and offers up some excellent racing and challenge, I have more fun with Burnout. However, if you can find Wipeout used, it's only about $8 at Gamestop, so save a bit more and pick up both.

Heck, just save up and get both, it'll make the decision a non-issue! Just kidding...in all seriousness, the real difference isn't necessarily game quality, but the general experience. Both have extremely great games, both have good ones that get boring after a while, and both have their share of absolute garbage that should be banned from existence. The difference is that the DS excels at games that feel like they belong on a handheld, while the PSP feels like a portable console. If you're looking for a portable with games that are designed to be portable (read: pick up and play), the DS is the choice for you, but if you want to take the console experience on the road with you, the PSP is the way to go.

You'll get around $3-5 for that. They never give any reasonable amount of money for accessories.

Well, I'm 27 and I think Daxter is a pretty good game. As a follow up, there's Ratchet & Clank, Syphon Filter (either one), Burnout Legends, etc. If you have WiFiaccess, you can go to PSP.com straight from your PSP browser and download some demos that way as well as using a PC.

You're not serious, are you? Hmmm...one of the best FPS' on the PSP, or middling character racing game...yeah, really tough choice there...

This really belongs in System Wars...but since it's not...both handhelds have their strengths and weaknesses. If you're looking for an handheld that offers up different gaming experiences, the DS is the way to go. If you want to have a console you can take with you, the PSP can't be beat. I got a PSP recently, and have had a DS for quite some time, and if I had to choose only one, it would be the DS for me.
