Is DS Lite better than regular DS?

I am planning to buy a DS but don't really want to throw out $130 for a Lite when I can get the regular one for much cheaper....Why pay that much more since it is just extra $ for a smaller size right?

GO lite

The Original DS has louder speakers than the DS lite, that's the only thing i can think of...so this means the DS lite is better overall.

My PHAT can take a lot more abuse than a lite. Plus with the cracked hinges and bad pixels that show up in a lot of lites (and don't tell me they don't, there's reams of threads here that have people complaining), PHAT is where it's AT!
