No absolutely not. The image you posted does not distract. The Blind Forest, on the other hand, is messy. It doesn't make sense as to what you can interact with. As if the characters are just pasted on a background like old cdi games.

I disagree, I loved playing Ori. The games visuals were just a masterpiece. Sorry mate, zelda looks bland next to Ori. Trine is another example of a game with much better game design than zelda.

Even though Microsoft won't directly sell the games, I imagine they still make a hefty profit when games a bought on things like Steam. Should be enough of an initiative.

@StrongBlackVine: Its quite hilarious how they are acting as if they are some hardcore From Software fans trying to be smug. Ask them to show their From Software game collection and they will run like away like some headless chickens.

I have been playing From Software's games since the PS2 launched. A lot of people on this forum have played King's Field, Armored Core, Chromehounds, Shadow Tower, Otogi, and Tenchu, all of which came out before Demon's Souls.

Let's not pretend that they were some unknown studio that people who are into this medium had never heard of before Demon's Souls on a forum of game enthusiasts, yeah? Especially when many of those games were well-received critically, very influential, or considered cult classics.

Just my two cents, I've never heard of any of those games before... I doubt the average moderate gamer has either. I literally thought From Software was a new developer when Demon's Souls came out.

More games for us PC gamers, nothing to complain about. It'd be great if they focused on PC games so we could see them take advantage of the hardware options. :v

@charizard1605: Actually Zelda does look like shit visually compared to Horizon. I'm go as far as to Horizon will have superior combat too. Only thing under question is the story, but Hell is the same story almost every time so even that is a toss up. No Zelda game is allowed to score less than a 95 though so it will likely score higher despite being an inferior game.

The only argument you have for Zelda is that it has technically inferior graphics, which is offset by its gorgeous art anyway. Literally all other parts of your post, including the part about no Zelda game being less than 95 on Metacritic, is wrong, or baseless speculation borne out of a misguided sense of loyalty to a brand, rather than any actual recognition or enthusiasm for games.

You're allowed to concede other games look better, even when they happen to not be on your precious PlayStation, you know. I'm excited for Horizon, but Zelda looks like a better game by just about every metric.

bruh... I really don't think so. The combat looked kind of boring from what I saw of Zelda. I've never played one before, so I unfortunately can't get hyped for any "changes" it has had. From an outsider perspective, it really does look like a miscellaneous steam indie game. I won't play Horizon unless it comes to PC or I get rich and decide to buy a PS4, but it actually looked really cool. Nice idea

I'll be honest, I've never played a Zelda game before. So to me, it looked like one of the random indie games I can buy on Steam. What was impressive to you guys about it?

I've never played a Zelda game before, is it supposed to look like a survival game??

Horizon looked amazing, hope it comes to PC some day.

Why does it matter? I didn't think this was "company wars." I refuse to be associated with the Xbox fanboys :p
