Yes, I already made a discussion about how I have ZERO issues with them increasing the price. They provide a terrific service, and it's very important for a company to be profitable. I own Sony a lot for all the entertainment they have provided me over the years, so i'm more than thrilled to help out any way I can.

Looks like Sony's corporate profits are being carried heavily by the success and admiration of the PS4's hardware AND software. This is great news as years ago Sony's viability was being questioned. This just goes to show that a great core and a great brand will always survive the tough times.

This is good for ALL gamers. Sony gets paid more, they reward their top level executives, those executives make important decisions, and we end up with some amazing games and hardware innovations.

The Cell was essentially a super computer...sure it took some time to tap into it's power source, but to this day they probably still haven't unleashed all the power. It was a bit difficult to program for, but that is a testament to Sony in creating something so advanced even the developers couldn't quite understand it.

Great points! The reason the PS3 has been able to survive so long is that it was equipped with teh power of the Cell. It is a bit of a shame Sony didn't want to develop a Cell 2 process for PS4, but perhaps it will return for PS5... We can only hope.

Confirmed news that Sony has been hard at work in their labs coming out with 2 NEW PS4 consoles. This is great news as it shows they are continuing to innovate, and with a new Slim model, their cost per unit should be less, which goes straight in to the pocket of Sony and their executives, which makes them push harder for more innovation.

We also have the new "neo" console coming which should continue to push the graphics and software capabilities to a new limit.

Very exciting times. Wonder how Micro$oft will choose to counter this news once they hear about it.

I'm predicting PS5 in 2021, with Xbox Two(?) coming 2018.

I am Not A Fanboy of Sony, but I can't help but laugh that the other fanboys can't appreciate a superior console. No Mans Sky didn't quite live up to the hype, but it's still a game any Micro$oft fanboy would love to have on Xbox One. Sony has always taken the brunt of the hate, but it's for the same reason people hate the Patriots, or the Cowboys in the 90s. Great success brings out the haters.

I am very interested to see how Sony's and Micro$oft's new consoles fair against each other.

We need more objective attitudes around here.
