@Pooya1881: Yeah sometimes it's ridiculous.

Regarding the "fugly women", it makes you wonder if they ever get out of their homes and look out how real women look. To me, one of the biggest mistakes of ME3 was to give EDI that ridiculous body. I mean, I like hot women, but that was just totally unnecessary. To me, this Kora looks quite nice and the asari (despite that froglike expression picture GS loves to use) looks good.

Regarding EA, they do this for the money and because they know we want it and will pay for it. That's not evil, it's just logical. As for Bioware story folks, just who cares at this point? No matter what they do, some people will hate it, they just cannot please everyone anyway.

Each time I watch that asari face my excitement for this game lowers. It's good to know I am not the only one though.

Great video. Just note that many of the poles that were made (especially in the official forums) regarding the endings were made "by haters and for haters", and that doesn't represent the overall ME fans.

To be fair, SO universe never had an awesome story/characters. Played one, played em all. The first one I played was the Second Story on PSX and it was ok, just not great. The second and last one, Till the End of Time, was really good and I enjoyed it a lot, but honestly, the story was crap; I enjoyed it mainly because of the combat and exploration.

It kind of perplexes me why people would think this entry would have a great story. Tri-Ace are not good storytellers, that is a fact. I love VP, one of my favourite games, but not for its story, the gameplay is just so freakin fun.

With that being said, other issues pointed out by the reviewer (e.g. lack of save points, back-tracking) are a matter of personal preference. I will not play it as I don't think I will enjoy it that much, but other people may love it.

Honestly, I think is a terrible idea. Chrono Trigger, while not being my favourite jrpg, is well balanced in every aspect, and has aged pretty well imo. FFVI should be the second big remake SE should make.

@kazeswen: By the time Chrono Cross was released during the golden era of PSX, most games that featured 2D graphics or 2.5D were severely punished by critic reviews just for not being 3D, with a few exceptions (SOTN). So no, I don't think EVERYBODY back then wanted Toriyama sprite characters. And tbh, many people (especially from EU, like me) did not even know about the existence of CT until Chrono Cross came out, so I don't know what you are talking about. With that being said, I agree, CT wouldn't look good in 3D, like the fanmade remake. Some games look just better in 2D style. In my opinion, Wild Arms looked tenfold better than its remake Wild Arms Alter Code:F.

To me it all depends on how much new content is added to justify 3 parts. I already own the PSX original and steam version so I won't buy a carbon copy story/gameplay wise for 180 €.

I wonder though what "liberties" they will take on shaping the story. Will you be able to make decisions? Will you be able to save Aeris? Will there be a good or a bad ending (a true bad ending) depending on your playthrough? Or will they make it 100% linear?

In the end they cannot please everyone and this will probably end up with a 30-40% metacritic score, but I have faith I may be one of those who I actually like this. We'll see.

@JSusie: The import feature of SFIII was something amazing, and I would have expected more games following that trend, like valkyria chronicles. But Sega never did it again, sadly. It would be nice for this remake though, but no matter how you think about it, Cloud is still the main protagonist. If anything it would be structured like in ME imports.
