I have one pre-ordered, but I don't like :

  1. the Forced Kinect bundle (I know why, don't bother explaining),
  2. the higher price,
  3. the separate TV device required to do the TV stuff they advertised as if it's part of the Xbone,
  4. the controllers use of battery backs you have to buy (Play and charge kits again),
  5. the lack of a headset in the bundle,
  6. the inability to upgrade the internal 500GB HDD (I hate the clutter of external HDDs solutions),
  7. the non-compatibility with my current 360 expensive headsets,
  8. Xbox Live's free game program not continuing with Xbone,
  9. the weaker power specs compared to the other machine launching,
  10. and the Launch game line up (I want zero games at launch, but I am looking forward to Halo, etc)

I will buy 1st party exclusives for sure (Halo, Fable, etc), but I also do hope that Xbox Live offers a better value like the competition is doing with their service. I do like the free games I'm getting on 360 until the end of 2013, but I see that isn't continuing on Xbone as of this post.

Where did you read that we need a separate tv device for the tv integration? I'm not questioning you, i just want to read about it because i thought the way you can control your tv through the kinect was really cool. kinda sucks that you can't do it out of the box.

Does anyone else feel like the combat axe flies way too fast? therefore it makes it a little too easy imo. also, its really weird having to wait that half second to put the gun away before you pull out the axe. it the first BO im pretty sure it was instant. not sure how i feel about it yet.

Pause the game, press select, then you should be able to change your game to invite only, or even play offline entirely. Problem solved.

Honestly if you haven't played the first Borderlands then don't even bother with the second.

It's fantastic, don't get me wrong. But the story and jokes transcend the second game, so you won't find it as good.

Buy Dishonored. It looks amazing so far, and plays great. (Played the demo at Fan Expo, think Bioshock mixed with Fallout)

Don't listen to this. I'm more than halfway through the main story, which doesn't carry over from the first game, and besides a few very very minor references to the previous game, you don't need to have played the first game at all to get anymore enjoyment out of the second.

Well I don't mean to sound like I think I'm just a god at video games lol because I most certainly am not, but I'm actually kinda disappointed because the game has seemed a little too easy for me so far. I'm even playing with the assassin class which seems like it might be one of the harder classes to do solo. I'm level 18 right now and except for the SMALL SPOILER ***************** "damn fine rescue mission" ************** which still I only died a couple of times, I'm not finding enough challenge. Not only that, I find myself to be very over leveled now for almost any mission which sucks. I really haven't done any grinding at all, just been doing all of the side quests, but I'm 3 levels higher than the current level of the main storyline mission I'm on now. I want to keep doing side missions but not if it means that every mission I do will be labeled trivial because I'm too high of a level. I feel gearbox should have thought that out a little more. Why give so many extra side missions if it's just gonna make your character ridiculously overpowered? And like someone else said, the loot I've come across has almost all been universally terrible. I understand that you're supposed to get better loot with more people (which is kinda dumb in my opinion) but this is ridiculous. I've opened quite a bit of red chests but the best things in them are only green rarity items. Still enjoying the game though.

No multiplayer. Doesn't need it, and I don't want it. I can't imagine anyone even thinking about multiplayer in The Last of Us. The single player is going to be epic, that's all I can't stop thinking about.

Venom_Raptor

i love single player dont get me wrong, but if this game is like other naughty dog games like the uncharted series, theres really no urge to play it once you finished the story. multiplayer didnt hurt the single player of uncharted 2 or 3 at all so i dont think it would be a problem for naughty dog to add some type of multiplayer. because otherwise it will probably be a one and done type of single player, even though it will still be great.

Idk if its just me or not, but Resident Evil 6 looks kinda bad, which is disappointing because i really enjoyed RE5. Idk the gameplay doesnt look great, and even the graphics look bad.

So I'm sure most all of you know about Naughty Dog's upcoming post apocolyptic esque survival game, The Last of Us. Im sure there will be some type of multiplayer in the game, and I thought of an idea that i think would be awesome as a multiplayer portion of the game. You know the Arma 2 mod for pc called DayZ? If you don't, you should look it up because its awesome. Basically its an ultrarealistic zombie survival game in a huge open world that is also populated with between 50-100 other real players on the server. You have to scavenge for everything, food, water, guns, ammo, bandages...everything. It's really cool.

Anyways, I think it would be really cool if Naughty Dog incorporated a similar multiplayer option in The Last of Us. Say about 25-30 or so people per server all wondering around the open world of the game just trying to survive. If you see another player, will you kill them? Maybe team up and try to work together? I think that would be really fun and a great change of pace from all the action oriented, fast paced online shooters we have on consoles. Anyone else think this would be awesome?
