@Krinnium You know, there is such thing as honesty and integrity. Just because they could have looked doesn't mean they should have. I found a man's wallet once containing his ID's, money, credit cards, etc. I could have kept all those things but I was honest enough to bring the wallet back to its owner with everything inside. If you know it's wrong, don't bloody do it or don't be surprised that there might be consequences.

They should lose all their winnings, period. You cheat, you get nothing. This should apply to anything where cheating is possible. What's to stop a group from cheating when they know they'll still get something out of it?

Wow. This is one of the best game trailers I've seen. I do hope the quality they put into the trailer carries into the actual game itself. I know a trailer isn't indicative of the actual game's quality, but people do start forming an opinion based on trailers either way.

Whether this show will be good or not, I don't know. However, every TV show I ever liked that aired on FOX always get canned and the stuff I don't like keep on trucking. I'll wait until it's available completely on Netflix or something.

@Deadly_Nemesis Only because the publishers wanted Obsidian to keep the kick starter going so they wouldn't have to front a financial investment which is the whole point of a publisher in the first place.

@Maxor127 Multiplayer is unnecessary here. They need to focus on making a great single player experience. Multiplayer will only cost more time and money that inevitably means they have to cut out other features they could otherwise add. Go play a game that's focused on multiplayer, like Borderlands 2.

@tizmond How? I'll tell you how. Enough people purchased their products to turn a profit. That's how.

@leikeylosh What are you talking about? They said they're leaving the industry entirely. Did you bother to read the article?

As much as I want to be excited about this, I'm not. DA2 was a disappointment. I have not played ME3 yet due to the uproar of the ending (I'm sure it had other flaws as well). Lastly, with EA pulling the strings, there is no way BioWare is a good company anymore.

@worlock77 Those who pledge some money know the risks associated with this, or they should know those risks when they pledge (ignorance isn't an excuse to get pissed when the project goes south). If the risk isn't worth it for you, don't pledge. It's that simple. Kickstarters is a good idea for games that are not popular mainstream (or popular among publishers in any case). For a game Obsidian is trying to make, big publishers don't want to touch it. A kickstarter is a good way of solving the issue of funding. Anyway, the consumer takes the same risk as an investor (least with Obsidian's project). If the game turns out, they get the game at a reduced cost and inevitably save money in the end.
