I cant afford them all! I also dont have the time to play them all. So out of these games I can only buy 2, which do you think would be the best 2 to buy?

Infamous

God of War 3

Uncharted 2

Assassins creed 2

MAG

So which one should I buy?

Yh its a great arcade game, but dont try to compare it with full games which come on Blu-ray disks such as GT5 and Motorstorm: PR

Killzone 2 has a badge and level up system, Halo 3 doesnt

Killzone 2 has the "Warzone" option which takes away the annoyance of being transferred to the menu after every 10 minute game finishes as it will straight away start a new objective/round, Halo 3 doesnt

Halo has a level system and a badge system with the use of EXP, plus it has that "warzone" feature that after a game if you just leave it it will automatically start match making again!

I dont think you have played halo 3 for a while or even at all?!?

It doesnt seem like you understand what a badge system (eg, Medic, Assualt, Engineer) is, nor do you know what Warzone is. Because Halo 3 doesnt have these features. Go learn what Warzone is, it switches between game types without taking you back to the lobby.

GS didnt allow me to write cl@ss. Well tell me how you can change the game type without going back to the lobby, i havent got killzone.

I was trying to write clas.ss (didnt think of putting a full stop) but Gamespot wouldnt let me. About the Warzone, what it does is, say you play a deathmatch (slayer) game, and you lose (or win), a new round will start immediately while you are running and an A.I voice will breif you on your new objective (for instance plant explosives in a certain place e.g). It does this for 10 rounds I think.

If you knew what Warzone was you wouldnt say that, it switches between game types WITHOUT taking you back to the lobby. Once again, Halo 3 does not have this feature.

I have just finished playing Killzone 2 and I will now compare it to Halo 3 (I finished it 9 months ago) but still play the multiplayer from time to time.

Single player:

Both are around 10 hours long (Halo 3 maybe a little longer)

Both have average stories

Both are pretty epic but Killzone 2 is more atmospheric (at least in my opinion)

Technology:

Killzone 2 has graphics which are almost a full generation ahead of Halo 3 (and anything else on consoles for that matter)

Art design is debatebaly, if you prefer shiny and colourful then Halo 3 would look better to you, if you prefer a darker and grimmer world then Killzone 2 would look better to you

Music is also debatable

Artificial intelligence (A.I) is good on both games, but Killzone 2's Helghast A.I (from what I have seen) act more realistically and dont depend on huge numbers to overwhelm

Multiplayer:

Killzone 2 has 32 players, Halo 3 has only 16

Halo 3 has vehicles, Killzone 2 doesnt (at least I havent seen any)

Killzone 2 has a badge and level up system, Halo 3 doesnt

Killzone 2 has the "Warzone" option which takes away the annoyance of being transferred to the menu after every 10 minute game finishes as it will straight away start a new objective/round, Halo 3 doesnt

Killzone 2 has advanced bots, Halo 3 doesnt

Overall winner:

In my humble opinion is Killzone 2, it has a more atmospheric single player and a much deeper multiplayer with more players, not to mention extra features (such as bots and Warzone) and far better graphics. I believe it got a slightly lower Metacritic score because standards have dramatically increased since Halo 3 was released, but you are free to post your thoughts and opinions.

I plan on buying only one of these two games. I can only buy only one (have more than enough FPS games at the moment), they both got a 9.0 score on GameSpot. So which would you recommend me to buy?

From what I understand:

Killzone 2 has better graphics

Killzone 2 is much more atmospheric and epic

Both have great Multiplayer

Resistance 2 has an extra online Co-op mode which Killzone 2 doesnt

Resistance 2 has more enemy variety

So which game would be the better purchase?

I agree with you, it definetly is the best looking game. To me it looks better than Crysis. It makes Halo 3 look last generation (No exaggeration).

The campaign is amazing I am only on the third level but it is challenging, fun and insanely atmospheric. I say GS, even though they gave it a 9, underrated it (Typical). It is the best game I have played this generation, the MP is also great!

Lol how sad, Killzone 2 looks by far the best game on consoles. I played the demo on a 42" bravia (almost same size as yours) and it looked amazing. True that textures looked less sharp close up but the issue is no way near as bad as you claim, in COD4 the issue is truly bad but nobody complains about that. In fact everybody agrees Killzone 2 looks better than Gears 2 by a long shot, Killzone 2 is simply in a higher league than anything else. Only Crysis looks better (and thats if you have a PC capable of playing it on high, which the majority of people do not have)

Graphics king for 2009 is Killzone 2, nuff said.

KZ2, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 will be the best looking games this generation. The Xbox 360 has hit its max power with Gears 2 and is really being outdone in terms of graphics by the PS3 now. Oh yeah Im not counting PC btw.

Far Cry 2, it looked good, but nowhere near the Crysis level where it was hyped up to be.
