@brian577 This article barely even glosses over the show. It's all about the game, and the people developing it. It's great.

@quark1020 @jorge69696 Why would I want to trade in my S1 (default Vanu rocket launcher) I love that thing, it hits like a truck. If enemy air is a real issue, you've always got the Burster MAX. Even with only one arm, half a dozen of them is enough to clear the skies.

@Fursnake You've obviously never played Force Unleashed for the Wii. Nothing is more immersive than the motion controls in that game. Flinging people around, or grabbing them with one hand while flinging your lightsaber with the other. One of my favorites was being able to grab someone with the nunchuk just by pressing a single button (basically, tightening your grip) then being able to lift them into the air and slam them into the ground simply by tilting it forwards and back. And you never felt more like a Sith lord as you twisted the nunchuk upside down to choke someone. THOSE were good motion controls.

@IMDLEGEND To be fair, the second and third most recent 3D Mario games are the second and third best games of all time, on Gamerankings.com, which averages all review scores. Mario and Zelda are far from stale.

@FroggyMcnasty Yeah I put it in my pocket. Whenever I'm not playing it, I listen to music on it. It's great to pull out for a ten minute bus trip.

Also, "12 year old girl hands"? I can reach an octave and a half on a piano.

@Raeldor @reimen Just a few weeks ago, I was running with my outfit, and we had over a hundred members, all working together in a small area.

I don't see what the fuss is. The 3DSXL is just a 3DS for old people with bad eyesight. The point of a portable is that it's supposed to fit in a pocket easily.

I've always wondered why I see kids playing with those stupid DSi XL monstrosities... I just figured the parent was too dumb to realize the difference... it's pretty inconvenient when a handheld can't fit in your average pants pocket easily.

@WolfGrey Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Circle Pad Pro only packaged with 3rd party games?

Nintendo isn't so lazy and uninspired as to make games that require a clunky and awkward hardware add-on.

@luqmanr As far as I know, only 3rd party games actually use the second analog stick add on, don't they? Sounds like a shortcoming on the developers part to me. Games like Metroid Prime Hunters, Kid Icarus Uprising are both games that would generally have used a second analog stick conventionally, yet worked just fine (actually better, because they're faster and more precise) without.

@Techn1c4l Well sure, if you never got bored of gaming on the N64 and PS1. I want new experiences, not old experiences, with more detailed zits on the characters faces.
